Why doesn't Fawaz try and get overseas backing like several other clubs have done recently, he could sell percentage say 25% and still keep control. Forest is still a well known club around the world, i am sure maybe the Yanks would be interested or the Middle or Far East would buy into our history, 🏆⚽ 😊.

Do you really think so? At the moment I can't see this club as a desirable asset for anyone. Personally, I'd be amazed, should Fawaz decide to call it a day, (or sell off a portion) if anyone at all got their cheque book out.

I've read on these pages many times about how Fawaz did us a massive favour by buying the club at a time when no one else would touch it. Do you really think he's made us a better proposition for investors since he arrived? And you surely don't really believe anyone with any nous would put money in in circumstances that allowed him to retain full control with his track record do you?

Maybe not number 9 but would we still be in business if he hadn't invested in us?

@ 2Tone: Who the hell knows. I strongly suspect we would but we'd be structured very differently. As we are where we are though, the more pertinent question is 'has FAH's ownership done us any good? '
