I'd like SP to go in to the loan market for a LB and possibly a CM. This isn't because I don't think the likes of Lijach, Osbourne and Tesche are good enough, but purely because we've had our fingers burnt before with a large injury list, and it would be awful for that luck to repeat itself this season. Prevention is better than cure.

The problem here Gazza is that no club will loan a player for us to use as cover.
The reason clubs loan players is to give them game time not to be fringe players.
Otherwise what's the point in loaning them?

It's a good point but I don't think anyone is gauranteed game time, loanee or not. Any loan players could challenge lichaj etc for their place in starting eleven. You don't want a situation where certain players are certain of their place. That's when you see inconsistency in performance.
