Hi Ed, please can you just clear something up for me, Landsbury's new contract is for 3 years, is that 3 years on top of the 2 years he had left making him a Forest player for the next 5 years, or is this new contract for 3 years including the other one, meaning really he has just signed a 1 year contract extension? Hope you don't think this is a daft question!

{Ed034's Note - I would suggest three years from now mate. Not a daft question at all. The reason I suggest it's three years, it's usually stayed when it's an actual extension, but I could be wrong

I asked same question as it doesn't state anywhere.

If its 3 years from now, that's only an extra year on his existing contract. Sounds like he wants to stay and give Forest a year to get in Premiership. can't blame him.

Confidence is so high at the moment, haven't felt this good since Pierre Van Hoijdonk & Kev Campbell led our front line.

Think you're right ed, Lansbury said you've got me for another 3 years, so it's a totally new contract, for three as of the signing.

It's a contract for 3 years on much improved terms. It just means he's committed to forest for this season and if at the end of the season other clubs come sniffing, they will have to stump up some serious money for him. More than they would have had to this time yesterday
