I agree. McLaughlin didn't look that great when he came on. Pato for me would have been a better option. I wouldn't send him out on loan. He needs to be around better players. He is still a young lad. McLaughlin would benefit being sent out on loan pato wouldn't. He needs to battle for a place.

Woah! Woah! Woah! Pato on loan? Who has said that KL Red? I've never heard such poppycock in all my life! There must've been a reason he didn't bring Pato on? Maybe as we were two up he felt they'd benefit more from the run out- fitness? More experience? A 'proper' look at them in a competitive match? Pato won't be going anywhere - he was a breath of fresh air last season- at times he was the only red to run at players AND beat them, weighed in with goals and assists left, right and centre. anybody not with me on this one? Get on YT and check out Forest V west ham in the cup- he destroyed them!
Pato is a Red, he hates derby
C'mon u red uns!

I don't think youll find a forest fan that doesn't rate Patterson. Surprising he didn't get a run late on, but even more significant he didn't get a start ahead of Antonio. I heard a whisper that the legacy of Billy Davies lives on in some of the players. Some have been moved on, Pato will be given the time to adjust.

Read KingsLynnReds post again and you will find he says he wouldn't loan Pato out. I agree with what he's says.

Tough game for a sub to come on too on saturday the game was basically dead and you can't really judge a player on one game infront of a full house. Bet the poor lad was bricking it

The trouble is who would you loan pato to. For it to benefit his talent and the club he would need to be go to a decent team in the championship. with a wide open league would we want him playing for serious rivals.
