Hi Ed. I really admire your loyalty to the Forest Management and Ownership team, but they are acting VERY strangely. So much contradiction. Fawaz has not delivered on 99 per cent of the promises he's made to us since he bought this club. He doesn't seem to understand the way this business works - sponsorship deals on / off. Great players coming / not. Why is it they all chose other clubs as soon as they've visited the city ground? Charlie Austin and others as example. What about the nonsense around Jack Hobbs? The guy is out of his depth. I only hope Pearce stays put, but the Fawaz statement yesterday clearly hints at some in-fighting with his reference to Pearce 'knowing' that Lascelles and Darlow were off. Clearly he didn't. I'm now starting to hope that Munto finance and Sven are coming in to sort this mess out. Final point - if you want to play in Premiership, WHY get rid of your premiership quality players? In that, I mean Darlow, Lascelles and Lansbury? Yours, seriously concerned 42 year old Red!

{Ed034's Note - I disagree with the majority of views on the owner, but everyone see's the guy and what he does the way they want to see him.
he is clearly trying to bring this club on, but it is now time to balance the books, as he is only allowed to put in a certain amount and the backing he has given previous and including Pearce, has to be balanced.
I would rather he took this FFP rule serious and guarantee our clubs future, than risk it by going all in this or next season.
We need to be run as a business and doing that you have to make decision that people both are not happy with and do not dully understand. This I fully understand as I have had to do it recently

The problem is speculation. We have two professional adults who are capable of sorting things out.

What is clear is that SP spoke to the advisors. there is the issue.

That is not speculation it is the "f" word (lol)

I agree with Ed, although there has been a comedy of errors in terms of eye tests and managers you have to give some credit to what Fawaz has done to upgrade our club and ensure it's survival. Some people have very short memories. He obviously means well and like the man himself said, he has to make difficult and unpopular decisions along the line to make sure the club balances the books. I don't need to tell any football fan how football has changed. It is a businessnow and iI believe that we have an owner who is conscious of the ffp rules and is not willing to compromise our future and for that I am grateful. Just a thought bit you could always go and support Leeds ,

Why is it other championship rivals are buying players eg Middleborough and Leeds yet we are selling - apparently running scared of FFP?

{Ed034's Note - 'running scared'. what do you suggest we do, puff our chest out or just ignore it??

Whilst I can see and share the ops concern about integrity and some business decisions made by fawaz. I struggle to comprehend how people can't understand the need to run the club as a business and balance the books. It's not a choice but a necessity. As he said himself some tough decisions have to be made and have been made, but on the whole he has done fantastic deals as regards bringing in new players if and when we get to the promised land we will have 50 mil plus a season to play with on top of our income it's plain and common sense. I don't get what so difficult to comprehend.

Lol wellred another poster without a clue, boro have signed 6 players and have got rid of 10.

Leeds have signed 8 and let 15 go including McCormack for 11 million

We have signed 9 and let 12 go

It never ceases to amaze me how clueless some people are
