I was disappointed to learn that a Forest fan threw a smoke bomb, its not what we do at Forest. Its not what we do in English football.
Please stop it
1.) I was at the game, left a few minutes early ( long story!) I didn't see anything. So I googled it and guess what? Smoke bombs thrown by Tranmere fans happens a lot!
{Ed034's Note - I heard it was thrown by forest fans.
2.) Morons

ANTONIO thought this lad was supposed to be a winger, have you see his goals on YT?
Both feet, down both wings and through the middle.
Now this lad looks a signing and a half.
If Angela wants to sign for a dead end club like Burnley after we bring in a player like this he must be mental

The problem for Pearce is this, how do you build for the future when 2 players are leaving?
This is not a normal loan situation where we may sign the players, in fact its the opposite, Lacelles and Darlow will leave, so where does that put the planning?
I am sure both players will give their very best, but it brings in new questions.
1 Do players contracted to Forest be higher up in the pecking order
2 knowing the Christmas present is under the table (so to speak) will the two players lose concentration.
3 How does this effect the dressing room knowing that 2players are on much higher wages
If Fawaz sold to comply with FFP I understand but to retain the players as a loan is a bad move for me.
I do not doubt their talents but both are replacable
{Ed034's Note - surely it helps him knowing that these will be gone come next summer. gives him time to plan
1.) 1. If the players contracted to Forest are better, then they play.
2. These players are looking to catch the eye of their new employer in order to get a place in a premiership team next season. How is losing concentration going to help their cause?
3. If its a dressing room with professionalism, then other players will aspire to achieve what these 2 players have achieved.

I am very pleased at the way SP handled the transfers of Lacelles and Darlow.
It is common for managers to refuse to talk or to spit their dummy and consider resigning.
Bt not a bit of it, he remained calm, focused, explained his disappointment and aid he will talk to Fawaz about it.
The platform SP is providing will give Fawaz a learning curve if he is willing to accept it.
Mistake number 1 was not telling SP and letting SP find out through a player.
Mistake number 2 was not backing SP in his valuation
Mistake number 3 was not working as a team
The biggest error here is letting down the manager.
1.) Our club is still reeling from bad Pr from the Davies era. I find it difficult to draw positives from a situation where our manager is at odds with our owner yet again. The media are poised to slate Fawaz for anything negative to come out of the City Ground. i'm probably alone, but I wish Fawaz had the chance to explain the Newcastle deal, before SP came out in opposition to it.

I do not want to sound greedy but let's have some serious perspective for a moment.
£50m a year would only get us one very top player at todays prices. If this journalist has the right information its a brilliant deal for today but in 10 years time prices will be different.
I can't actually remember the last time a team was promoted into the top flight and challenged the top 4 for a sustained period of time other than Man City.
All over promoted teams seem to come and go, many are yo-yo.
If we are to get promotion and challenge for Europe, then the team is going to look a lot different and may need £500 in the first year in the Premier League.
1.) True, but if we do get promoted then Fawaz can also put a lot more mony in himself and we will get loads more money from TV deals in England and abroad. We would be able to compete enough financially to stay in the league. I don't think anyone is expecting us to compete with the top 4! Let's just get there first!

It is a rumours site, it is not a poky pie site. big difference
Laughable
I think you'll find this could be rubbish pal, its already been said he is terminating his contract
The problem with this rumour is the poster wants to give us too much for credibility; its not true
Considering the exposure we received last season through Al Jazeera, if that was to continue this season I would expect a new sponsor from that part of the world

I do find it a bit sad when fans start slagging the team off when we are joint top.
Actually I don't think they are fans.
I think they are self centered persons who know very little about the game or the management of people other than Football Manager and FiFa15.
Personally I am delighted we have gone 3 league games without conceding since we let 3 in against Fulham.
If you had a bit of luck and popped one in last night we wouldn't have these posts.
What we are talking about is 1cm. that's how far Lars was away from scoring a few days ago and 1cm was probably the difference in Antonio putting the ball over the bar and scoring in the match mast night.
Just 1cm, that's the difference between top, 2 points clear followed by people singing Psychos name, and sitting joint top have 3 0-0 draws.
THINK before you type. and go to school
On the flip side you could argue derby haven't invested that well, and while other teams have advanced their personnel has derby?
What an awesome post, I really enjoyed reading that
The problem is speculation. We have two professional adults who are capable of sorting things out.
What is clear is that SP spoke to the advisors. there is the issue.
That is not speculation it is the "f" word (lol)
A very sensible, well balanced and thought out post
