I just read the article in the Nep about Us having to pay off Djebbour and then let him go for nothing if we want to move him on. Have to say that this seems crazy, why don't we just put him up for sale or look at weather he broke the terms in his contract with he's behaviour and antics since he has been here and try to get out of paying him that way. when you consider he's meant to be on 30k a week to pay off the remainder of his 2 year contract is going to cost about 3m. What you think ed? Or fellow reds.

Our only get out clause would be to play him and if he makes no effort and or is disruptive then drop him into reserves or under 21 if he refuses to play which he no doubt will then grosse misconduct charge equals sacking. We woll not pay him off no chamce

So why would you pay his contract up in full and then let him move for free?

That totally doesn't make sense. We have his registration so if he wants to go and play anywhere he leaves and we pay him until he signs.

No problem here other the one you seem to be making up in your heads.

If, on the other hand he wants to finish his career right now then we will of course see him in court and settle it out of court as always seems to happen. lol

We would not have to pay him up for three years just so he could leave? lol

{Ed034's Note - if we release him, we would have to pay him in full. I think the problem will come where a club says 'yes we will take him on a free, but will only pay him £15k a week'. Why would djebbour agree to this? He would only leave if we make up the difference.
I'm not sure who you are aiming the '....making up in your heads.' comment at?? Or even what you are suggesting is being made up??
