What a week for forest fans. We never know for sure the details of what actually goes on inside the club hut from outside it looks in a perilous state. I think if the rumours are true re jj investment its either back to the negotiating table or see ya in court Fawaz.

I would imagine from whatever angle you look fawaz and his kind or not good to do business with, hus track record is poor. Moores maybe trying to steal the club but fawaz us between a rock and a hard place. Removing PM makes sense, tho a shame, so either a plan is afoot or he is having a fire sale.

I still don't think bashing fawaz will acheive anything positive. As fans we remain powerless all we can do is continue to support voice your opinion and hang on. But its vital to the name of forest we hang on in their.

Get behind the players, for if we go down the club need us hugely in our future and right now. We need to show future manager and future players that we are great supporters!

Why sack pm when you still got to pay him . Wouldn't been better keeping him On till things are sorted out ?

2.) 15 Jan 2017 16:10:36
Well said rudders

3.) 15 Jan 2017 16:14:22
Only by removing FAH completely will Forest become a real football club again.

4.) 15 Jan 2017 16:23:16
we are greatley supported world wide we do not want our great club destoyed hang on in there guys ( true supporters)

5.) 15 Jan 2017 18:39:19
Poor Montanier has been managing with his hands tied. He's not been a master tactician but when selection choice is so limited you have to make the best of what you have.

6.) 15 Jan 2017 20:24:14
You are right bsered as I said in yesterdays post why should anyone buy the club unless its outright. I'll bet Fawaz would not buy it this way

Laing has signed. Alert from forest to my phone.

Great to hear the positive vibe on here tonight. 2 up front was a relief. We weathered a storm but now we have a valuable platform to build on and the break is not ideal but vaughn coukd be in contention in a couple of weeks. Well done to the lads and management. Make no mistake a great resultπŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„.

To all you fellow posters who insist on keeping with mw. For all our sakes i hope we give a battlkng performance against sheff u. If any of the humiliated 3, hobbs, licha, velios vet picked and we lose then they will get the " i told you so " remarks. But these players need a run i the team not judged on kne performance.
I cannot get to matches these days so rely on commentary, tv etc. For those who stump and follow the reds home and away can you really see improvement in the team?
We are not judging mw on 10 games. He had 3 months last season, the summer and nearly 2 months of this season. By the sounds of things attacking wise we had better 2nd halves against villa and fullham creating more chances but simply not scoring. Well if you leave the back door open you will get burgled and that is his achilles heel. Playing footy is one thing but doing the dirty work defensively is the springboard for success. It is pretty much a given that succesfull teams have settled well drilled defence. So with the changes forced tomorrow will the line up be given a chance to gel? The slide needs to be halted and this game against a streetwise battling sheffield will be another great yardstick. A battling draw could just be the launch pad needed. Has mw got it?
Lets hope soπŸ˜ƒ.

What is it with the Hobbs fans? Yes he can play, but there are two things wrong with Hobbs. 1) He is injury prone, some can not accept that. 2) For all his quality he is slow, combine that with his high wages that makes him a player that needs to leave the club, but like many others over years he clings on to the bitter end.

2.) 30 Sep 2017 06:20:53
Probably cause mills can't play is slow and on high wages

3.) 30 Sep 2017 07:25:39
Rutland why do you say Hobbs is clinging on? Do you know something we don't? Given a choice between him and Mills I know who I'd pick - I agree with many on here who think the defence needs a shake-up, so why not try a different line-up?

4.) 30 Sep 2017 07:34:01
sorry Rutland I got the wrong poster - too early in the morning. I agree with you actually

5.) 30 Sep 2017 08:33:15
Ok swiss red lol i posted at 3am. Ppl miss the point. Hobbs if hobbled should be paid off. Indurance will cover it. So all i am saying is we should have some clarity re hobbs licha and velios. " not in my plans " like a normal msnager would say. Its playing lesser quality players that we just don't get.
Our slump in fortune coincides with vaughn being sidelined too. Bridcutt does not have the same bite or quality of pass!!!!

6.) 30 Sep 2017 11:33:31
On what basis is everyone saying Hobbs is not NOW fit? Yes he has had his problems but unless someone is in the know he has not broken down when called upon under MW and has certaintly looked more solid than the other centre backs.
It seems MW is not prepared to give him a run rather than his fitness not allowing him?

7.) 30 Sep 2017 14:03:18
Hobbs is our best cb. Yes he is injury prone but he needs a run of games. If he is a high earner can we at least get some value for money out of him? We don't get that if he is sat on the bench. that's why we can't sell him either. What would you do in his place? "Hobbsy, you can go and play at this other team for about 10 grand a week less, or you can stay here and sit on the bench". " hold on gaffer. Can I think about it?"
If he was a youngster he would be off to play football but the rest of you would do exactly the same. He needs games.

8.) 30 Sep 2017 18:51:03
Hobbs needs a run of games? If he is not fit he is unable to play, if fit a run of games means he will get injured. We can not sell him as he is not fit for long enough, he should have retired at least 2 years ago.

I read MW PROFILE lastnight. Fro what i can gleen, he is more suited to a director of football role. He only played at non league level and has high principles regarding how things should be done. He has fallen foul of hirarchy at several clubs. I think he inherrited a reasonable squad at brentford but he would not be compromised over his ethos so he fell out with the chairman. now to my point and it surrounds msinly his outright disregard for velios, who in many ppl's view has been harshly treated. I think bouchalkis was forced on warburton so his retaliation is velios. It may sound far fetched but i am digging for a reason as to why he refuses to play or even experiment with him.
Also warbs has taken the same backroom staff with him in wier and mcparland. In some ways i feel for him but he js single minded and compromise is not part of his make up.

1.) 27 Sep 2017 09:38:44
I don't want to put MW down or see him out as we need stability but I have to admit rutland that I don't get why he won't use certain players. Hobbs needs games (if fit) and is our best cb. Vellios could do no more. Lichaj not getting a sniff?? I thought he wanted rid due to high wages but while they are at the club bloody play them.

2.) 27 Sep 2017 09:50:13
I take it you don't like him Rutland oh well bring in another manager we can get sacked after a few months

3.) 27 Sep 2017 11:06:36
No i don't like his so called style or treatment of some players. He truly baffles and is full of codswallop talking about players becoming streetwise etc. He picks the players, some are too young and not up to it yet. Yes time is neccessary but in this day and age you will not get it. If giving warbs time means flirting with relegation again then we will see were the loyalty lies!!!!

4.) 27 Sep 2017 11:18:02
Redfin just imagine you are hobbs. Or even velios. Seeing players get chosen before you and you are fit. What do you ask yourself, particularly in the fact the worral for example is making big mistakes. if hobbs is not fit or has a career ending problem then pay him off, insurance will cover it. If not then why has he not been given a run like worrall and mills and brereton have been given. Hobbs was once captain and a proud man. Negativity will fester. As for velios well i would be sulking big time now and rightly so. If murphy is better, which he may be then surely velios could be used as a sub occaisionally, keep him sharp and matchfi etc. Do you see my point???
Oh and lijcha??? Is a better player than any fullback deployed on matchday. Has the passion and drive and vocallity that is missing. He must be a happy chap too!!!!

26 Sep 2017 17:22:30
Right tonight a draw would be acceptable. Its not the result that really matters as many on here believe in its a work in progress. I don't. However if warbs can swallow his pride and act as if he has a bit of variety to his thinking and puts out a strong team that can play with tempo and purpose creating more chances then i for one will be happy. Come on warbo get it in there tonight pump the players let's have a sturdy back four and get into them. WE WANT YOU TO DO THE BUSINESS. It please many people associated with club.

1.) 26 Sep 2017 19:16:33
I agree, we need to mix up things a bit, if the opp know we're going to roll it out everytime then they will high press.

But we are certainly not the finished article, would that not mean we are a work in progress?

3 points for us tonight though I think.

2.) 26 Sep 2017 21:40:57
stop dreaming and wake up to the real world. never will be a finished article. debacle yes

22 Sep 2017 13:41:25
I read someone say warbo had success at brentford and rangers. Only 2 yrs at brentford thecsecond not so. Rangers were in piss poor league.
Anyway to my main point. If you continue to play it out from the back it proves very easy to nulify. The opposition will push up and press you backwards giving little space to exploit. Good busy strikers will know how you are going to try and pass it out and read it time and again nicking the ball. Itscpressure our defence does not need it also compacts the game giving fewer options. The opostion if clever can push you out of their half. If you occaisionally opt for a longer ball and get your midfield to press for the second ball it opens the game up and gives space and options. We need the ability to press the oppostion in their half and give the wingers space to run into. simples.

"Simples" Have you saw the length of your post??mate??? πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2.) 22 Sep 2017 18:22:23
I think it's ok to play out but just not all the time, I agree, mix it up a bit.

Go on Rog.

3.) 22 Sep 2017 19:53:11
Rogie i thought it sounded good hope warbo reads it lol

I said less ego and as for holloway he has motivated average teams to the very very top. Ppl bang on about king billy, king of bs. A meglomaniac. Remember paul hart??? He knew how to harness youthfull endeavour, played a bit of footy but that was not enough for forest. He got sacked, disgracefully in my opinion.

Skeggs asked the same question. I think a manager with less ego and more common sense would pick lijcha hobbs and velios. Have a skipper and a better grip of defending. I may have opinions but i cannot choose. But managers like holloway, big sam and neil warnock seem to quickly get their players playing with endeavour and look like battlers. Big big passion and where sometimes the foofball jsn't the prettiest they get at the opposition. The players under theses managers play well above their abilities. Its simple motivation.

Redfin all the critiscm has been aimed at warbo. Most on here have been grafefull to the regime in general and are aware that the club is in very good and safe hands. However i have said this before thst the playing and management staff are the shop window. let's be honest warbo has had 7 months to shape thus team and it is as disjointed as ever witb warbs ignoring the obvious. Ppl who say wait till jan for more signings are naive as we all knew the defence was a priority. I would not trust him with any more money sorry but it just ain't happening and at some point the chairman not marinakis will wake up to the facts that warbs was a mistake. Not a problem we all make mistakes and its the finding out and admitting them that is the hard bit. If their was a good pattern and signs of improvement then thd transision would be bearable. It ain't and the axe maybe hovering!!!!
