I'm hoping we sign someone if only to shut up some so called fans on another forum who are saying Fawaz wants to sell, Billy can't buy anyone, Jim price is interfering with transfers he is also responsible for 9/11 the shooting of JFK and won't be happy untill Forest are in administration.
Here's hoping for a left back and a centre half till january

{Ed034's Note - even if we do not sign anyone, no fans should be saying this and will not be posted on here by me.

Agree with you 100% Ed, I just don't get why some have been against Fawaz from day one and despite everything he's done remain against him

2.) 28 Nov 2013
Anyone doubting Fawaz just needs to look at him in front of the "we hate Derby" flag. He's a real fan just like us all. anyone ever seen another owner/chairman do that? don't think so.

{Ed034's Note - they just need to look at the signings he has sanctioned and the improvements he has made to the city ground.

Living in Ireland and I cannot see first hand the improvements fawaz has made but reading about them etc online/papers/ this site I think even stevie wonder could see his involvement in our club is nothing short of amazing. He has made it exciting all over again to be involved with forest. Yes people are entitled to an opinion etc but surely there is a line.
Hence ed I would like to make a suggestion if it's ok with yourself. - I think any remarks critical of fawaz should not be entertained here. He is a genuine forest fan and is still learning his trade but to date I personally feel his contributions have been fantastic. Your call obviously ed.
Ro red.

{Ed003's Note - So opinions that you don't like shouldn't be posted ??? }

Since the al Hasawi family took over 16-17 months ago they have sanctioned almost 40 signings either loan or permanent how any one can question them puzzles me

I don't think the number of signings is the main indication of Fawaz and his contribution or commitment to the club - with fawaz it isn't just a financial commitment. The main thing that stands out to me is that everything he does he thinks is right for the club, the players, fans and management. Someone else mentioned previously that he is still learning and he will make a few mistakes along the way - who wouldn't in the crazy football world? he is investing in something that he is unlikely ever to get a financial return on - hopefully his return will be success on the pitch which we can all enjoy. Most fans are with Fawaz all the way and most understand he will make a few mistakes but the majority of fans will always be grateful to him and be there to support him and the club. coyr

Ed - wouldn't you post anything from a fan having a dig or a cheap shot at fawaz? i'd have thought most people on here would shoot them down and make the post look rather daft? Fawaz is not hard to defend is he? I guess it could just end up in a row so I can see your point but sometimes a daft post followed by an open discussion can change peoples views.

{Ed003's Note - I'm not really bothered about Fawaz but I'm not censoring peoples views on a football chat site just because some people don't agree with them.}

7.) 28 Nov 2013
Sorry wrong ed - ed34 said earlier that he wouldn't post some comments regarding Fawaz

{Ed034's Note - unless there is substance to it, I won't post it.

8.) 28 Nov 2013
I wasnt having a dig ed - your very fair with what you post and how you handle the comments.
what do you think the odds are for a surprise signing this afternoon?

{Ed034's Note - I wasn't suggesting you were, I just wanted to explain what I meant with my earlier comment

9.) 28 Nov 2013
Ed 003 seems to have the measure of certain people.

10.) 29 Nov 2013
I should think he does well to understand half the posts?
