I have heard fawaz wants a better look at Rhodes as he is not willing to part with 10m if he isn't sure Rhodes will show a decent return. If Rhodes plays out his skin on sat then we are likely to bid high for him.

Fawaz is also lining up 2 commercial signings in the summer if we get promoted, he is looking to turn #NFFC in to a self sustaining global franchise.

Finally, we are in talks with Samsung about a sponsorship deal.

I can't tell you who I am but I can tell you I have been seen with fawaz before on a number of occasions and I will be at the game on Saturday.

Bit of a strange one, as what if Lascelles totally has him in his back pocket (being one of the best defenders in the league) all game and Rhodes does nothing? Doesn't mean he's not got anything to offer Forest?

I like the Samsung connection though, good sponsor and decent money maybe?

In 223 league & cup apperances Rhodes has scored 141 goals, what is there to look at? Landed Hobbs for 500k. bargain.

You've heard? If you were as close to fawaz as you make out you wouldn't have put I have heard which makes it sound like an indirect rumour. Sorry to be sceptical but if you want people to believe you, you got to think about what you write before you write it.

I would prefer Connor Wickham - better work rate, cheaper and will be worth a fortune in a few years all being well. NFFC have to be trying to combine this with the Vaughn deal surely.

Agree with red_Til_Im_Dead - what's there to look at? Cannot believe Fawaz isn't convinced he would be exactly who we need. clearly more to it than that. At the moment QPR seem to have got through their bad patch and maybe Rhodes believes they are a better bet. Depends on the player's choice 100% - that's why we lost Austin. Long term, think they might both have made the wrong choice - but that doesn't help us get promoted. Connor Wickham not such a prolific goal scorer, but would probably score enough to help our quest, along with the players we already have. COYR

This is rubbish

They are not going to judge a player by one performance on Sat good or bad. Any decisions on Rhodes would have already been made based on past performances and would have had him watched on numerous occasions (Thats assuming they are in for him at all)

Keep this garbage coming it makes me laugh

To all of those who would like us to sign Wickham, this is sadly NOT going to happen.

Either Sunderland or Wickham have turned us down, I don`t know any more than what I have been told, but do not expect Wickham as one of our strikers.

Doesnt matter about work rate. if he can find the net then it doesn't matter. cox has top work rate but doesn't score often. just saying some people need to think less about wor rate and more about a striker who can score
