Doubtful rumour from el Futbolero: Alexis Sanchez has received an offer to sign for Forest on a free transfer?

Played well in the Champions League last season. Seems a bit far-fetched, but would definitely sort out the striker problem.

El Futbolero didn't report the link to Forest, they've merely been reporting on his contract situation at Marseille. It looks likely he'll sign on for another season France but he does have the option to leave.

The only link to Forest comes from some French twitter account called 'OManiaque' and it sounds like made up nonsense.

I'm presuming you've been reading Lee Clark's page on Nottingham Forest News? He just regurgitates things he's found on line. He's not really very good and often get his wires crossed. Like today.

A more believable one is that, if we don't manage to get Sangare from PSV, we are considering Ndidi from Leicester (another Nigerian). Apparently, he only has a year left on his contract, so Leicester might have to cash in.

I read the rumour somewhere obscure, memory fails me. Not sure where, but I almost never run with anything that I only saw in ForestNews for obvious reasons.

I'd feel a lot better if they get Ishmail Jakobs in. LWB is a potentially huge problem if you ask me.

Fans are panicking, but most of the squad who finished last season well are still in place, LWB and GK notwhithstanding.

Looking at this olna fella he plays both left and right we img back so what was point in buying him if we still looking at lwb
Meant to be buying quality over quantity.
I’d say we covered at lwb we got
Richards olna Williams could also play there and Toffolo who might not yet be banned.
Centre midfield ie Sangare or Adams needed more than a lwb and a couple more forwards.
Not to mention Hendo.

Toff will get a ban. That would leave us with no natural left sided LWB. A bit risky but might work.

If I was Cooper, I'd be in the director of footy or whatever they call him's office, and saying we can't start the season without a natural LWB.

Dont be surprised if Aurier moves on to Saudi Arabia. There are links already with Kouyate, Boly and Aurier. Aina deal woul dmake a lot of sense if we see Serge leave.

Freuler now linked to Juve too, likely loan to buy.

Toff's ban won't likely come in until 2024 but we would still need a specialist LB/ LWB as Richards still isn't fit.

Saw Jakobs is advanced talks and there is another french left back as a back up called Adrien Truffert - we will get him if Monaco don't get Jakobs and he will go to Monaco if we get Jakobs - merry go round!

Sankhare needs to happen to give more backup/ competition for CDM along with Yates/ Mangala. Ndidi is a steady back up but we need another CF to compete with Awoniyi.

I think we are getting ready to let a RB go as well.

Sanghare would be a fantastic signing, but not sure if it's going to happen. Had a chat with my mate (Leicester fan) earlier and he reckons Ndidi is quality but injury prone. I said he'd fit on well at Fores then.
