Hi James I posted earlier about finances. 1 million a month loss is probably right but covered by the Burke sale so I don't believe Fawaz will have had to out any money in this season. That's why the urgency for selling club has gone away. That and the fact that he can raise a similar amount in the summer if he chooses to sell our talent. That gives him an extra 12 months to find a buyer.

So I'm confused that's 48 mill over 3 years which about covered by player sales not quite but close so where has the the other 120 million he has pumped into us gone not out for hate campaign or finger pointing just trying to understand where is gone ok manager pay offs yes, what 20 million ish for that and that probably hasn't all come out of the forest accounts in one go 100 million to go lol.

Not enough income from fans through the turnstiles and a poor commercial set up (hospitality income and facilities are not great) and on top of that some poor buys and pay offs for sacked staff- basically just living beyond our means and some poor decisions-hoping for the windfall which the prem could have brought our way. A gamble that hasn't come off, player sales will cover the running cost deficit but we need a long term plan to make sure we live within our means andcover our operating costs.

Until Nffc get the off the pitch business up and running we will never make big money, we would be better off moving stadium to a purpose built football park, shops, restaurants, conference facility, hotel etc. Need to make more money to survive.

Totally agree, but we have a chicken and egg situation here.
Punters won't come and buy "prawn" sandwiches and other entertaining goodies until the "show" is worth watching.
I bring clients to the footie and take them to the L&V pre-match meal as far better vfm.

I think he is including the £30 mil he spent buying the club too in his '£122 mil' estimation.

Remember he only mentioned what he had "spent", not what he had made back so the 122m may be correct including the purchase of the club but that's not to say he's actually lost that much money in the club.

the 2015 accounts (latest available) showed the club owed £69.0 million to the Al hasawi family (not fawaz) and £14.9 million to the holding company, which totalled £83.9 million. Since then we have had the Antonio, Burke and now Lansbury monies, so cannot believe the loans will have risen by much if at all.

Club definitely need to employ some commercial staff and look to expand hospitality, merchandising etc we are shockingly behind others.
