BREAKING' Sly Sources: Deal agreed in principle for the sale of Nottingham Forest from Fawaz Al-Hasawi to Olympiacos owner Evangelos Malinakis.

Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett says: I understand all matters agreed in principle for sale of Nottingham Forest. Now just due diligence for Evangelos Malinakis to pass FA/ FL owner's test. The club keen to for the sale to end quickly so that new manager and CEO can be appointed. The club also expects to be cleared of transfer embargo in due course.

Id not seen anything other than fawaz saying we would until tonight where someone sent me a link to the forest website which said the fl will lift the ban on the the opening of the transfer window which was the 7th of May at 2:30.
The reason i questioned it was because it hadn't been covered by sly sports whereas other teams had coverage on sly sports saying they had there's lifted.

I'm sure that the fit and proper test will be a formality, i can't see this having gone this far without someone making sure that it would be passed, and as far as i can see he has never been convicted of anything.
