Please explain why he didn't get a fair crack at Forest? He wasn't good enough for the first team so he didn't play. Simples.

Reira and Laing both signed by Pearce as stars of the future. Something must have gone wrong.

No defensive Dougie was wrong, he never gave Riera a run out same as Lars, but was is his tactics now, long ball to Blackstock and hit them on the break but we can't do that because the striker who would be best suited to that is playing in the Dutch league! 👾.

Riera and lars? lol

I reckon DF did ok picking Oliviera, Mendes, Jokic, Pinnilos, and Mills so what is it about him that makes him blind to all the talent we have available within the club?

Here's what. Nothing. These players aren't good enough or ready!

look at O Burke. Raw and exciting but constantly out of position, ball watching, admiring his own work. And yes that's a bit harsh but they are the tiny things professionals eliminate from their overall game in order to become complete players.
If a player can't see what he's doing wrong and change it then it doesn't matter how much skill they have. Players like that will never be any good because at some point they will keep letting the team down.

It is difficult to see your own faults when you think your amazing and some football genius! Some players are never as good as they think they are or reach the levels they should be at. Knowing the game, being consistent and understanding the part you play on and off the pitch is as important as skill level.

Lars looked like he'd never seen a football before.

Riera is so good he's gone straight into Celta Vigo's "B" team and will be taking part in a relegation battle at the bottom of Spain's third tier for the rest of the season.

Star of the Future!

Nice footballer, not an athlete.

we have to trust DF in his assessment of these players, he's not just going to let great talent leave the club for nothing. if it wasn't for riera's roots, no one would care about him leaving.

Youth football/ pedigree means nothing, just ask Jamie Vardy.

For every Wayne Rooney there is a Sonny Pike. Some great youngsters make it, some don't. Some unknown youngsters make it, some don't.
