Get him back only got slight ankle injury should be ok by September. Just what we need in middle. Then a forward on loan maybe hooper nugent ect and we will be challenging for automatic promotion if we have luck with injuries

Here we go again, unfounded over expectancy that will result in falling attendances and shouts for the managers head by November.

For once can we not just go into a season with a slightly lower expectancy and just support the team.

My hope is we end the season with the same manager he started it, yes I know that's very unrealistic but it would be nice wouldn't it?

Where's the info from that Villa are happy for Gardner to go on loan?
He a quality player and I would love to see him back but he's as good as anyone in the Villa team.

2star. I absolutely agree. Let's get some stability back into the club. It will do no harm to get the basics right from the bottom to the stop. We need to look after the club from a financial point of view ie CEO or similar or else we will soon be debating our pre-season before a challenging season in the Skoda Gearbox League!!!

Why shouldn't we all expect at least top 6 finish. We're under embargo yes so if we didn't make playoffs this season am sure most fans would be ok.
But looking at our squad apart from missing Britt its stronger than last season.
Just a decent forward on loan and Gardner on loan I think we will be in the mix.

This rumour is from a young bedroom journo being paid on piece work on a website that spins stories from the tabloids. He is simply speculating

Given the squad rebuilding at Villa it is unlikely that Gardner will be a starter. Realistically Villa may send him out on a short term loan to keep him fit as he will get a run if injuries or the squad does not gel.

If DF is to work to his blue print the only deals for the 2 outstanding squad positions of DM and striker should be season long loans. We must stop doing make do and mend and have a 24 man squad.
for the season from the start.DF now has a secure contract so he should have the balls to sort this out.

Gardner is no good for us just until Christmas as this will only raise expectations if we make a half decent start and cannot follow it through when this key position gets exposed after Xmas.

I would love to see Gardner back but there are others out there can can do a job for the season.

Redinexile the rumour about Gardner is from a journo who has been absolutely bang on about every bit of forest transfer news so far and clearly has an in at the club (if not from Dougie himself) so what he is saying is accurate and it would be a season long loan by all accounts
