Forest looking at putting in an offer for Huddersfields James Vaughn around 3mil you heard it hear first

1.) 29 Jul 2014
Stuart Pearce has said that he is after another striker, could Vaughn be that striker. I think if he comes he will do well.

Hope your move is going well Ed you should try moving every three years like us forces guys not fun!!

{Ed034's Note - going well mate, thanks

2.) 29 Jul 2014
No thanks if we were going to spend that amount on him would have been better off getting Wilson

Wonder if this has been brought about due to the rumour that Radosław Majewski is on their radar.

4.) 29 Jul 2014
@ Marco - Wilson not a target and gather has never been (believe Pearce doesn't rate him).

Think be overpriced at £3m but Pearce has worked with him before (U21) so maybe.

Although I think £3m is over priced, I do think we need to spend that sort of cash (whether it be Vaughan or someone else) to sign that goal poacher if Fryatt is not fit. Maybe it is just me but I am feeling nervous about the new season as pre season games not been great and we still have a full treatment room.

6.) 29 Jul 2014
Wilson has signed for Bournemouth months ago!

7.) 29 Jul 2014
Maybe that is a softener to get Vaughn then?

8.) 29 Jul 2014
He is injured all the time!
Am I the only forest fan who thinks we can do better then him.

More money = better striker = more goals!

£3m looks a snip compared to McCormack at 11m. Unfortunately, Fulham have set the market value for decent strikers at this level. Bournemouth have spent, Middlesbrough have 2.7m in theirs. Both unproven at champ level. I imagine Rhodes would be worth 12, and Deeney 8. That the way it is. If you scrape the barrel for the he Hendos or Derbyshires of the world, or you unearth a gem like Ings. We had ours, Patrick Bamford, and we sold him for a bag of nuts. Feels good that.

{Ed034's Note - we had no choice in selling bamford. We offered him the biggest contract we had ever offered anyone of his age nag he said he wanted to leave. We also were desperate for money at the time and still offered it.
There is no guaranteeing that bamford I'd going to become a 'gem' either

10.) 30 Jul 2014
I agree Jonsta - definitely would be Pearce's worse signing yet in terms of value for money, is an ok player but not a stellar signing

Never going to happen we do not want anymore crocks!
