Rumour seems legit. Comes from a Spanish football website. Barcelona under 19 captain.

Not wanting to be a party pooper but even I as a Forest fan wouldn't leave being captain of the Barcelona 2nd team to join a 2nd division English team. just can't see this happening unless Barca have released him then maybe. but still. surely Atletico or some other big club would be after him

He is from Barcelona B, who play in the Spanish 2nd div, prior to that he captained their youth team to win the UEFA youth cup. don't think just because Barca released him he's not quality, Barca have so many young players on their books it would be impossible to award them all pro contracts. Maybe this is the fruition of the recent rumours about us negotiating a deal with Barca maybe to have first shout on players they release and possibly the odd loan of their players that they think will benefit from a spell with us, I know its only speculation but if true it would be great for us to get ready scouted players who have been schooled the Barca way. What do you think Ed has the thought not crossed your mind re the recent Spanish deal rumours? Or just a coincidence?

You got to remember some players feel that they should be in a first team and progress how they want to remember Barcelona let cesc fabragas go man United let pogba go hopefully he is another gem slip through the net and will want to prove him self at a different level

Some of the barca fans are not happy some have said he is the best u19 player they have and he is the most successful youth captain they have had

Looks like he was released from Barcelona B so he's not actually leaving them. Probably link up with squad in Portugal, expect a few more to join players in Portugal too

Think long term too! If he comes and settles in well and loves the club he will talk to his friends over there and maybe a few more Barca releases would want to come over and play for us!

He's available for free and has been raised in the Barca academy, let's be honest he's more than worth a sniff based on this alone.

There will probably be a 'buy back option' in the deal. this is the European way. eventually they get the option to buy back if they develop in the future. anyway we should be thankful were in the running to sign player/players from the barcelona academy! we're definitely moving in the right direction! FTID
