We as Forest fans have had many false dawns but as an older fan I have also witnessed some magical times with the club. For me it is still a way of life, something that cannot be changed even after so long without sucess. Our owner as at times made me struggle with some of his decisions and it hurts to see us criticised for how unprofessional we are conducting business off the field at times.

However, to those who do little else but continually slag the owner off I would say, where would we be now if he had not come in, ok, much of that money he as put in as been wasted by poor deals etc but the intent was good and he steered the club out of embargo eventually. Its not as if there is a huge queue to take over, just a wealthy Greek with a dodgy CV.

We now I think have a good manager who as signed eleven new players and got rid of numerous lesser ones and as got transfer funds if required. That is down to FAH. Britts five year deal is a massive boost although the usual critics will tell you it means nothing i'm sure, although the owner could have sold him with ease.

So my message is, a lot of water as flowed under Trent Bridge since Fawaz took over, he made mistakes, he admits that but we need to now move on. So I urge every genuine supporter to get behind FAH, the manager, the players old and new and back them this season and leave the negativity out for a while and see how we get on.

Best post I've seen probably since I've been on This forum. Still no one will listen. They don't understand the clubs situation.

Great, a forest fan who is actually looking at the positives. Our coach and football director could have spent more money on a forward but decided that the ones they wanted were too expensive or unavailable.

So lay off Fawaz about buying a striker the money was there but for some the player/ money requested did not match up. We have good squad, had a reasonable start the next few weeks will will show where we really are at.

Well said Retford red, I am also an 'older' supporter who has experienced the highs and lows of our beloved club, and I agree totally it is a way of life.
Its time now, under the what appears to be the best management structure we have had for some considerable time to get behind the club and support what is potentially a very good squad of players.
Just for once let's try to be positive and hopefully, collectively, achieve, what we all desire.

Redford. How can you get behind a liar. He will always tell porkies because that is the way he has been raised.
