In January I think we should go for Brereton as he will be out of contract soon, knows the club, is young, full of confidence, the type of striker we need. It would mean that Forest would have had their cake twice! :) Obviously depends on how the relationship finished with us, bearing in mind it has all changed since he left and we may be fighting at the right end of the table come January.

Just interested in what fellow reds think of that idea?

Would be a good signing. Will he want to play in our division now though, from next season? He is an elite international player now.

To those who thought we dodged a bullet selling him? Develop your young players and keep them longer. He'd be worth more than double what we got for him now.

I agree, he may think he is due the Premier League; but using Bamford as an example, I believe he only got his chance because Leeds got promoted.

True about selling him, was not a fan and I believe our Academy has been underused. Burke is another one who should have stayed, and Fornah might be the next one (Hope not) .
