Time to revisit the value or not of Mills to the team.

Moved on by average teams all his career.

Promoted by Dougie as a leader but always an accident waiting to happen when in defence.

Got away with a training ground routine for a few and scored but now marked out of corners and when he does find space misses.

Started most of the games during our unbeaten run with 2 DM's to protect him.

As soon as we try to play and expansive game we conceed and low and behold its Mills getting caught out of position or failing to close down.

We have better defenders than Mills has ever been so Dougie should now park him and let the midfield off the leash and let the back 4 stand up and be counted?

As individuals the full backs and other centre backs are as good as any in this league we just need a better system putting pressure on the opposition higher up the park.

So come on Dougie show some tactical flexibility and trust in the squad?

Gary gardener was at fault for Ipswich's goal for not wining the race to the ball outside the area when he looked odds on favourite to get there first, not mills fault.

I'm afraid like the Pratt over the river DF can be very belligerent.

Mills is a player DF will never concede isn't worthy, too much of a climdown

Anyhow perhaps mills is that trustworthy disciple that all those who manage people need.

Not sure if I'm seeing someone in mills quite as suspect as you are but get your point.
