Jack Hobbs is quoted in today's Post talking about the need to for Forest not to begin games slowly. Is this a sudden revelation? I should have thought it was blindingly obvious that opposition teams, especially away from home, will rip into a side struggling for form and confidence. Surely pre-match preparation should ensure that we are fired up and ready to concentrate as a defensive unit. There's no disgrace in conceding exceptionally well created goals or in being beaten by a better side on the day but these basic first twenty minute errors must be eradicated or we will be in League One next season.

Agreed. After Danny Mills comments about Pearce being the exact opposite of what you would expect hime to be as a coach (passionate and a good motivator/man manager) it is clearly worrying. I loved it when we beat beat derby the day after his comments, which made him an obvious target to us Forest fans but in the long term he is going to be proven right unfortunately. He is not the only pundit who thinks this way about Pearce.

Derby played badly in the second half and allowed us back into the game and Fulham were only weaker in the second half as they naturally sat back to defend their lead and got a bit nervous. I love Psycho and it's great how he has brought the club together and made it a "family club" again but but I just can't see him getting the best out of our quality players.

Perhaps the whole team, including the backroom boys should take a look at some video's of how Forest played back in the "good old days" Defend in depth, build from the back, press forward as a unit. I used to enjoy watching Forest v Liverpool back then. It was a game of cat and mouse, with tight marking of key players & an act of individual brilliance could turn a match. Often ending in a 1-0 win either way. Yes fans want to be entertained, but not to the extent of us having to fight back, yet again, from going down to the early goal. The reds either want to get into the premiership, or they don't. Concentration is the key to everything, from the first whistle to the last. We have one of the best squads in the Championship, so let's prove it. COYR
