Reading lining up a bid for nottingham forests Jack Hobbs after losing out to forest in January according to ssn.

Well they have a few old forest dogs now maybe trying to replicate the poison dwarfs top 6 squad by buying a duplicate forest squad lol they do seem to have a fondness with forest players.

He won't be going anywhere. Be in my first choice back 4 everyday. Hobbyl's was so keen to move to forest and since that he's barely played due to injury so don't think we're going to sell him anytime soon unless it's a serious offer to good to refuse.

Totally agree, it is very laughable, but need cheering up with rubbish day I'm having. Ed didn't hobbs sign a lengthy contract in January? What makes them think they've got any hope. Bob hope and envelope, lol.

Maybe just an attempt to unsettle the player before our game with Reading, don't think we should fall for that old trick. Nigel Adkins is definately no Alex Ferguson.

Non starter this one, no way are we letting JH go after all the shenanigans getting him here and with the best part of a 4 year contract left this better be astronomically silly money to even open negotitions. JH will definately be playing with a tree stuck on his chest for the near to mid term future.

I laughed at this rumour when I first read it, but then I thought what if Forest are having some kind of problem with FFP and maybe Reading have got wind of it and have decided to try their luck? Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I hope there's no truth in it.

Don't think he'd be interested in going to a smaller club anyway. Much smaller it seems regardless if they've been in the EPL more recently than us.

He's a top rate centre half. Why shouldn't they bid for him. We want our club to be in for top players so I'm sure they do to. Won't happen but can't whinge about them being interested

In the Berkshire local rag, apparently no bid been placed for Hobbs! Maybe the offer was thrown back at them and gone all embarrassed!

Of what I've heard from a couple of Reading lads is that they can't afford the bog roll in the ground, let alone new players.
Apparently we are still picking up Mackies wage untill their new owners get through the FA approaval process.

Well skint reading have agreed a fee with Huddersfield for Oliver Norwood he will play in the match between them tonight and go for medical at reading tomorrow according to Ssn.

Reading are in pretty much the same situation we were a couple of seasons ago. Even if they're interested, I very much doubt SP would even consider him leaving, or that he himself would want to leave. Quite excited by the Hobbs/ Manciennce combination at centre back

Hobbs- I hope is here to stay class act and player Reading can kiss ass if they think they are going to get him 3 million would make me think about it for 10 seconds anyway!!
