Rumours saying Nottm Forest close to signing Zaha on season long loan, are doing the rounds

1.) 10 Aug 2014
It's on a certain betting site now and SSN! Please tell me this is happening!!

Can't see this happening. He will go to a premier league club for sure, it was raheem sterling this time last year was it not

3.) 11 Aug 2014
Really hope not. Massively overrated and would upset what is (apparently) a close knit dressing room. Would rather the money went to Lansbury

4.) 11 Aug 2014
If he was up for it (Playing for us in the Championship) this would be a huge coup. Quality player.

5.) 11 Aug 2014
Am I the only one who just can't see this happening?

6.) 11 Aug 2014
I would have thought Sinclair at Man City would be a lot more realistic at this point.

7.) 11 Aug 2014
Calm down everyone he's off to Newcastle

8.) 11 Aug 2014
I think if Fawaz and SP are looking to loan from MUFC then there are better options for him to look at in the way of hungry young talent.

Powell, Lawrence, Keane (either of the 2), Wilson and Lingard.

All would be a class additions for back up subs and the odd starting place.

As for Zaha, news up here in the north east is that NUFC are offering to buy whilst us and Palace are looking at season long loans.

{Ed034's Note - lol blimey. zaha was one of the best players in this division not long back and will be gagging to get playing again.

Zaha would be a great signing in this division even with the attitude. His acquisition might also help Lansbury with his decision to stay rather than divert money away from his contract. Having watched the lads on Saturday it's clear Pearce is planning to play with real width and pace and beyond Antonio and Burke he still doesn't have a lot of quality or pace in wide areas. Also when we play 451 which SP seems adamant he will, we will need more attacking midfielders who can score and cover the ground. More games for Pato I hope as couldn't believe McClaughlin got a run instead of him! Britt was also sent to play wide right late on suggesting we could do with a few more options there.

Agreed Ed, and I certainly wouldn't complain if Zaha's services was secured for a season. Zaha already has a name out there and a reputation slowly becoming established but the other youngsters are still chomping at the bit to put themselves out there and be noticed for MUFC first team opportunities.

I'm a bit concerned about attitude and ego although there are no reports of this as far as I'm aware and I guess it really depends on what area SP wants to strengthen. I wouldn't have thought the wing was one of them though, especially after the weekend's showing!

I thought Burke and Antonio had a class debut and showed us if that form continues, we're in for an awesome season.

I wasn't at the game but was listening on BBC and Assombalonga sounded lively and Reid immense.

{Ed034's Note - he has worked under sp before so he will know all about his personality. doesn't bother me one bit

11.) 11 Aug 2014
Would be great! Pearce could be a factor, imagine the pace up front we will have if we get him! Frightening, Boooom!

12.) 11 Aug 2014
Can we loan him for a year from Newcastle?

13.) 11 Aug 2014
Keane gone to Cardiff. Appears Man U reluctant to sell and feel a loan will raise his value

14.) 11 Aug 2014
ExActly, if sp is looking to bring him
In, he clearly must feel the guy won't mess with the team atmosphere as he knows him already.
