Stuart on SSN interview states club "moved heaven and earth" to get Antonio and Asambollonga in. Appears he has ironed out any differences with Fawaz. All good news.

Hi Ed. Just a quick thought regarding Andy Reid. As everyone knows Andy has been superb this season. He's looked as fit as he's ever been and arguably played some of the best football in his career. I tend to think that a good deal of this was down to Billy Davies. I remember Andy speaking very highly of Billy in an interview not too long back, which made me feel that Billy was instrumental in bringing the best out of the 'maverick' Reid. I just hope whoever comes in next at the helm will have the secret formula that helps make Andy the player he is.

When your team has been hammered 5-0 by local rivals you are looking for some kind of reaction. First half there were a couple of occasions where I thought we were just getting into a stride, but a mistake would stall us. Second half just went downhill. To be fair the atmosphere only turned when they scored, forest showed nothing last 10 mins, zilch. A guy a few rows back from me got Mackies attention and told him all the other teams around us were losing and that we needed to get something out of the game. Mackies expression was one of sheer desperation, one I won't forget
Fox had a half decent game tonite. Baffled as to why Paterson did not start. Once again he looked like the only player who might threaten a goal. Jara was awful.
