This time last week all there was only " doom and gloom " but a week is a long time in football and the only stand in for Britt if injured was Velios and Veldwyk! The former is not the answer and the latter has gone to pastures new so somebody who on his day has " done the business " albeit in " fits and starts " is welcoming especially on a free transfer but probably on good wages whereas Velios cost a £million and a 3 year contract! I know which option I would prefer. Just suppose he scores a 92nd minute winner against Arsenal, crazier things have happened, and that could be the spur the " kick up the backside he needs ' I might be dreaming but it's better than the ' nightmare mood of last week!

I couldn't agree more. Veldvick was a donkey who could not head a ball and was not upto championship level. NB is a better option who has played at a much higher level than ours and hopefully feels he has a point to prove. The idea is to sign players better than you have and other than losing Burke I think we have done that. Really looking forward to seeing how we do over next 5 or 6 games.
