My biggest frustration with forest is were always constantly looking for prem cast offs. Some fantastic players in leagues 1/ 2 but we seem to refuse to go there!
Watkins, Roofe, Dack, Wells, Marriot just a few off top of my head, Jayden Stockley just gone Preston for 750k, and scored a screamer on debut. So annoying we don't even seem to look lower down.
We should look at Ahearne Grant from Charlton, only 21 and looks the real deal.

Good point kr88. Lower leagues AND bringing more young players through our own ranks.
Recruitment/transfer policy is a shambles and has been for many years. We've now got a bloated squad; many of the players are either injury prone or journeymen lacking the quality needed for a serious promotion push.

Agreed yeh we did buy britt, making 10 million profit. Can't seem to understand why we don't look anymore! I wonder how much watkins and roofe are worth now

It was no secret that we were a poorly run club for many years.As a consequence it became very difficult to attract players with ability coupled with the correct mindset.Things have improved markedly regarding organisation. We are now in a position to attract players of a higher calibre.We now have an experienced manager in place and we shall soon start to reap the benefits. YOU REDS!!

Agree look lower leagues but they are a risk. Great when they come off but. our fans just not patient enough to let them develope. Look at the stick the 2 Scottish lads get on here then there’s the stick our former academy players get, Cash,Osbourne, Smith, Brereton when he was here etc.
But it’s a great idea to give it a go and find that rare diamond
