Having had a quick look at journalists predictions for promotion and relegation from the Championship, one had Forst as Champions a few had Forest as second or play off winners but far more had derby to go up. I do not feel i'm being biased, but i just can not see Lampard taking them up in his first season as a manager. What a player but a quality manager?

Roy Keane took Sunderland from 23rd in Championship to promotion in his first managerial position. Appreciate he was probably a better player but Lamps could do the same - hope not for sure

I agree Stags. Lamb hard will soon realise that he's out of his depth. He won't last the season. If the sheep finish higher than mid table I would be surprised.Grass is turning to straw in the heat incidentally!!

Much as I hate to say this, we were led to believe they would have to radically revamp that team to come in line with FFP. Well, it hasn't happened, and they have made a couple of additions to strengthen if anything. They have also had decent pre season results, and seem to be performing for Lampard. He is rookie coach, but they may not be as bad as some are expecting! Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if Lamps takes them down the table forcing Mel to sack him!
