Seems to me df is starting to make excuses for when he fails he had last 18 games last season all preseason to see what was needed and who he wanted out and in.
And then he's giving trials to likes of Hendo who's a cart horse he's also trying to sign injury prone players Taylor Maynard ect.
I know his hands are tied but unless this squad does a burnley or at least in a playoff position all season. He will be gone before 3 months.

Blimey Marco, have you just been brought back to life and missed the fact that df can't bring in who he wants and he can't just get rid of players that he doesn't want??? Fans commenting like this can never moan about poor management, utter nonsense.

No pal. I know he can't bring who he likes in.
But he should be able to do better than Hendo.
Halford was better upfront than Hendo.
10k a week would be better getting loans in like apkom ect.
Or just tell us fans that this season we will be settling for mid table but we will be bleeding youth in from academy. I'd except that

If df came out and said that Marco he would be ripped to shreds by fans. Any one with a shred of footballing knowledge knows this will be quite a tough season and i'd say most fans would be happy with a mid table finish and a few young lads being introduced but to hear our manager write off the season would be ridiculous - with a bit of luck, great support rather than negativity and we could still have a great season. I'm really looking forward to it,lower expectations but hopeful of over achieving!! Coyr

Akpom? What did he do and how many did he score for us on loan? Here's a clue- nothing and none! Get real.

Strictly speaking, Freedman has only been able to think about forward planning since he secured his contract in mid-April; prior to that, his main task was to earn the contract in the first place (very different priorities). He's now working with players signed in more reckless times who he doesn't want but can't shift while having to approach the transfer market like a rummage sale. Against this backdrop, solid achievement for Forest in 2015/16 will amount to little more than retaining our place in the Championship while starting to address the financial nightmare we brought upon ourselves.

I actually think DF most recent couple of interviews have been bang on. Hammering those at the club for being just happy to take a wage and actually wanting the right type of player. I wish he would stop harping on about previous ways and managers as he has proven nothing himself yet to justify criticising others. However the way he speaks and the principles he spouts are on the right lines imo
