Dear Chairman,

True Forest Fans will show their appreciation for your commitment to the club at the next home match.

The personal nonsense spouted by the Twitterati is not representative and easily dealt with by deleting your account and using the club media and forums to get your messages across.

Dear Chairman

Well - what a ride! Here we are, a mere 2. 5 years into the glorious 3-5 year plan that will restore us to our former glory and already we're a few points clear of the Championship drop zone - and with Dougie Freedman in charge too! It's entirely to your credit that such feats could be achieved without the need to involve more than 6 or 7 professional football managers and it's impressive by anyone's standards that we've only overspent by enough to warrant a minor financial penalty (pfft! - offset it against your debt to someone else - I would!)

In view of all this success, it makes perfect sense to avoid wasting time talking to CEOs and other busy bodies at the club (hiring, firing, buying and selling? Piece of cake!) - we're on an unstoppable mission here and you're the man with the midas touch, right?!

Now, I know some people are critical of a few of the things you've done along the way but who cares if you've put a few noses out of joint: 'nice guys come last', right? In any case, there are plenty of Forest fans who can see right through those moaning minnies trying to spoil the non-stop party down there at the City Ground.

Give us a wave when we chant your name on Saturday. Here's to the next 2. 5 years!

A. Trufan
