In most forms of management in any kind of area the new man/woman at the top is never trusted till he's proven. There is also resistance to anyone new. I once posted that we had a long way to go to get to the bottom of the pit: so many poor games and a loss to Rochdale then an own goal and down away to Derby - that was SP's nadir. He had to show he could cut it. With a big motivational talk before the game, with his formations and tactics in place he never wilted and inspired the players who listened, to go for it and they did. He's now on the upside and can be assured of support from his choices among the players. The balance has tipped back into his favour. We now need to see how he consolidates and builds. The see-saw will go up and down but no-one should be under any illusions that he can't be a good manager since he has shown he can and is. I only have one request - let's have more youngsters making a bigger contribution, especially Walker otherwise he will be nabbed by another club that doesn't deserve him.

I have only 1 wish for the Fulham game, please no team changes unless they are enforced. Britt may not be fit.

Looked like tony had broke his rib to me! He was in some pain.
