Does any one think that tesh may turn out a better DM than Cohen.?

Jack111

1.) He looked quality when he came on.

2.) 30 Aug 2014 18:59:13
Our standards are slipping - first time we have scored less than 2 goals in a league match this season.

3.) He's looking very good and I think he'll be a regular starter

4.) Nope I think they're both good in their own different ways.

5.) Looks very promising to me, and I enjoy watching him play. But Cohen just has that special something and makes the team tick.

6.) I think he looked solid and composed when he came on, I do think he's better suited than Cohen there for me I'd shift Cohen back to lb, but saying that I don't think Reid had his best game would not drop him for the derby game as he is forest through and through but maybe if he's not playing great tesche to come on for Reid. As I know Reid runs the midfield but when tesche came on he played some great balls, defended well and made some great moves. Difficult choices must be great for SP

7.) Tesche is going to be the difference between winning and losing tight games. He is sheer class at breaking up, closing down and playing the simple forward pass. He also looks like he has an eye for goal.

8.) Lets not forget David Vaughan too. He is a very classy operator at this level

9.) 30 Aug 2014 20:51:22
Looking at the strength of the squad, I think we need an 8, 10, 4 formation for the next game. Otherwise, who do you drop?

10.) CC only playing at 80percent so far just wait till heavy pitches and CC Back to full fitness, then judge him, just gives so much, been so consistent since arriving ,deserves a bit of leeway!
CARLO

11.) I'd recommend if you guys haven't already to have a read of the U-21's win over Wednesday from Middle of last week- the side we put out was immense and our second string was as good as many other clubs first XI!
In fact the next day Pearce said he's happy with our strength in depth- we have cover for every position and we're not talking Brian Rice here there were ex Barca academy players, internationals, champs league players I don't think even that, if everyone stays fit, we'll need to add all that much to stay in the prem I really don't.

Vaughan and Tesche are both better CDMs for me

My team.

Darlow
Cohen
Kelvin
Hobbs/JL
Lijigh
Vaughan or simular (signing)
Pato
Lansbury
Reidy
Dejbour (give him a pre and a chance)
Summer signing/our young 17yr old who keeps scoring

Subs. Makie, cox, abdoun, devrias, couple new signings.
So about 4 players in and quite a few out.

Jack111

1.) We will need some pace on wings ie roughledge or richardson.
and either rhoades or macormack up front
with wickem on loan.

2.) If Cohen gets fit he would be my winger. he is a quality left back but he is wasted there. get him bombing down the wing and he will get back a lot more to help fox at left back.

{Ed034's Note - isn't the way he bombs down the wing and ability to be able to bomb back, his biggest strength as a full back??

3.) 07 Apr 2014 21:41:10
We really need pace next season. We have lacked pure speed all season this year. Just watch how successful teams break with pace. We tend to take far too long when in possession just to cross the halfway line. I'm a fan of keeping possession and passing sideways whilst waiting for someone in the right place or making the fight run. But, at the moment we are so slow at making that pass forward that the opposition has had plenty of time to get people behind the ball and any momento we created has been stifled before it began and anyone one without the ball in the opposition half is now marked by one or even two defenders.
Every team promoted to the Premier League for the past five years have had lots of pace throughout their team.

4.) I like him further forward from the start. if he overlaps whoever is the winger has to cover, that could be abdoun or pato, and they wouldn't do the same job. I think Cohen is a far better attacking threat.

I love Fawas for saving our club and all he is doing and will do but I'm a little worried that we will be a laughing stock of football as now we have had 6 managers or will have in 2 years this needs to stop at some point.

Jack111

1.) Couldn't care what people say? Will they be laughing when were in the prem?

2.) Why? It works for Chelsea and they seem to do o. k.

When he is fit he is arguably the best player on our books so it kinda makes sence really.

None of them will do a better job.
But something needs to be done.
