Read the article this morning which explains all the financials around FFP. When you have read it suggest you encourage the other posters do likewise, then they may understand the events of this week a little more clearly. The worry is. A very short term strategy, having been a supporter for almost 45 years I hope it works.

. PS Best Goal ever was not Simon Cox. Not even top ten ( even though his were rare and memorable!!) The best ever for me was 26 Dec 1971. I believe that's when it was. Ian Storey Moore against Arsenal. He ran length of field, beat several before taking it round Bob Wilson and sliding it in to the corner. Awsome.

{Ed034's Note - thanks mate and I've read the article. Had to edit post as cannot promote other sites.
For me personally that goal will always be in my top ten as I had an American relative at the game and to see him go nuts when he scored, was a great sight lol

Totally agree with the Ian Storey Moore goal I was a14 year old couldn't stop talking about then and still tell the youngsters about it. left a double winning side on their arses

Best goal ever was Gary Crosby heading the ball out the Man City goalkeepers hand, then tapping it in

Watching the Man City players chasing the ref after he allowed it was priceless lol

If I remember correctly, Alan Ball made his debut in white boots. I was 10 and Storey Moore was a fantastic player.

I remember watching Forest V West Ham, January 2007 just after the great man passed.

Marlon King's curler from the edge of the box to the far post to win the game after Evans' (remember him!) equaliser.

Harewood had put WHUFC in front and was respectful in his celebrations.

Not what you'd say the best goal but had so much feeling and emotion and meant so much to win that game for Cloughie

{Ed034's Note - I am not ashamed to say I had to wipe my eyes after that goal mate

I still get goosebumps when thinking about.

No shame in such emotions pal.

Passion. Pride. Forest!
