On the eve of the most eagerly anticipated Forest match since. I don't know, a very long time ago. You have to take your hat off to the fellas running the club. I can't say I wasn't disappointed to see KD and JL leave (more so the price than the reasons why) though they are still Forest players for now.

The thing that SP and co have done well is to provide a perfect balance to the team (other than perhaps a holding/defensive midfielder). There is pace in the side (the two new boys, Pato, Burke is also no slouch), experience (Reid, Burke, Fryatt) and loads of youthful talent all chomping at the bit to get in the side (Osborn the obvious one but I wouldn't be surprised if Grant, Blake, Laing, or possibly Riera and Walker would be regulars on the bench). But the boys upfront is the most impressive, a massive lad to keep the ball, a super speedy lad to frighten defences and a lad who knows where the back of the net is.

I think this is the first time in years since there are no more pegs or bloody holes for them to go into with opposing shapes or sizes.

I'm excited Ed, I'm so bloody excited!
