What do you lads think about Thomas Muller

German newspaper says he could be transferred because of too little playing time- could be the time for fawaz to grab deep into the pocket ;-). would be a dream - but, forest should also look into Germanys 2. Bundesliga (similar to Championship) there are a few good strikers and playmakers (also from recently relegated sides that would be worth a look. Or maybe make a deal with Bayern Munich to loan players from the second team. Any thoughts?

Thomas muller? He would cost millions and then millions more in wages, he is being linked with man u why on earth would he join us?. most unrealistic target yet me thinks.

I have read some ridiculous posts on here in the past but Forest to try and go for Thomas Muller is probably the maddest one I've ever heard. There's being optimistic and ambitious and then there's living in pure fantasy land! Funny though mate.

I'm always a positive and optimistic forest fan always saying we will be in the prem next season, but there is no chance ever that Thomas muller will come to us, how can you state the bundesliga is the same standard as the championship, possibly the later end of the league maybe but the chance that someone playing for bayern Munich who are quiet possibly the best team in the world, well deffinately top 4 in the world would be willing to drop from that standard to the championship playing the likes of Blackpool and Brentford week in week out! Well you sir must are smoking something incredible over there to be imagining this as possible!

I don't think the original poster was saying sign Thomas Muller - one of the worlds best strikers. What he is saying is, why don't we look towards Germany.

ok, maybe mentioning Thomas M�ller was a little bit misleading. It should just be an example of how a really fine player like M�ller, who is often a sub at Bayern could be lured to another club. It is clear that he would not go not Forest and we could never afford him - so that was only a joke.

BUT there are for example plenty of players in the second German Liga (I did not say Championship is similar to Bundesliga, but maybe to the "Zweite Bundesliga" - second division in Germany) that share M�llers fate. German youth system is tremendous - look at the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern M�nchen, Schalke (e. g. Julian Draxler) - why not to scout the second teams of Germany?

Please have a look at Jakub Sylvestr. He scored 15 times this season in the second German Division. 25 Years of age and market value about 1 million EUR. I guess he would also be an 15 to 20 goal a season striker in the championship and his club "Union Berlin" is not one of the wealthiest.
