Well well, another poor performance to get the moaners moaning louder. Ed massive injury list and some players on the pitch who would be lucky to get bench time with a full squad, playing what was a prem side last season. I didn't think wigan were much better than us! Also if any of the top 6 had 5-6 of their first teamers out for months on end, would they still be there. I think not. Last point, even with a full squad. the strikers we have are not prolific, cox for me would be a great attacking mid as he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. if we had a couple of INGS or RHODES types, we wouldn't miss our midfielders quite so much. Play offs here we come!

Very good point. trickytrees. full team fit for the playoffs. forest would win easy. you never know we might play wigan again. hope so.

3. ) If we had the full squad to chose from week in week out, we would not be looking at the playoffs. We would be top 2 no problem. I was there for Yeovil too but this current squad is much better. Our first 11 could beat anyone in this league. look at when we were full strength, we passed team off the park. A few timely returns from injury and there s no reason why we can't win the playoffs. If not, keep this squad together next season and we will smash this league. ( baring no repeat of this staggering injury hit season )

Agree totally with the post, very good perspective on things without being negative. It's irrelevant how much the players we played on Saturday cost as people like to harp on about. the fact is half a dozen of them are nowhere near as good as the players they are filling in for and would probably be else where now had we have had no injuries. maybe this shows a bit in their performance? Personally I felt we lacked our captain Saturday not to mention the completely decimated midfield.
