Sunderland look set to sign a defensive midfielder, after being linked with Leadbitter (as have Forest) .

With leadbitter said to not be part of Pulis' plans this season, could he make the switch to the CG?

Would be a good player for us IMO. Maybe not a starter but good depth in that position.

Also, cracking result earlier today from the boys #COYR.

With the wages he will most likely want he would have to be a first choice player, too expensive just to be a back up player.

Would his wages be higher or lower than Jack Colback's?

J65. I do not know, i would have thought similar wages, but the differences for me are that the manager has shouted from the rooftops that he wants Colback back at Forest, therefore would be a first choice player. Leadbitter has not had the manager say anything about him since joining Forest as far as i know and you are saying that he would only be second choice so no comparison can be made on wages. Just wasted money on a second choice player.

Sooner have Colback all day long alongside Watson rather then The Legbiter who is on the wane now

Fair points. It depends if AK wants to add depth or quality to that position. Leadbitter would provide more depth at cheaper price (both signing fee and wages). That was why I posted it
