Reports in a red top tabloid suggests that Forest's new ownership deal has hit a snag over who pays the wages. Owner Fawaz Al Hasawi wants Greek Evangelos Marinakis to buy a chunk of the club soon (as we all know) so he can split a £3 million bill. Make of that what you will fellow Reds. I was hoping for a conclusion to this takeover asap so that we can try and move forward like all the other manager less clubs have done already.

I can't see this deal going through and we will end up with andy Reid in charge of the team and be fighting to stay in the league.

thought they were buying 80% which would put them in charge of mostly everything
who pays what would of been sorted by now? then again it is forest.

These meetings are private, it is just reporters making things up, when these meetings are concluded only then will anybody know anything and that includes football fans and very bad reporters, just be patient there is nothing else you can do. YOU REDS⭐️⭐️.

If they own 80% of the club then they will effectively be paying 80% of the wages. The club pays the wages and the owners of 80% of the club would obviously be paying 80% of that. This is a bit of a non-story.

There may be snags regarding the deal to sell 80% of the club of course but this one sounds like nonsense.

More terrible paper talk.
We`ve already made a solid bid for a player, this indicates that the deal has gone through with the new investor, why else would he put money on the table for a new player.
Its the FA that are holding up the deal.

Anyone buying the club will only pick up the wages tab after the end of June co-inciding with any playing contract expiries.

He is not the government. He is a highly successful business man. I prefer to keep an open mind at this stage. Yes there are rumours, and yes I know this is a rumour site. Just putting an alternative point of view.
