Let's all step back for a moment and assess where Nottingham Forest FC is?

1. we know we have a good squad, dead wood gone.We may still have some divas but the team has a solid spirit.

2. We have been beaten narrowly by two of the top teams in our league and luck went against us.

3. We are capable of playing a passing game.

4. Our squad has not had time yet to get to know each other as for example the 'Boro team has.

5. We lack consistency in defence, midfield and attack though there are positive signs.

6. We have some excellent youngsters up and coming.

7. Owner and manager working together.

8. Fan expectancy is very high but as Cjay and others have said we are not yet top two/six category.

9. Henri has improved but is not Captain. Material and should not be taking set pieces.

10. Ebecillio looks out of it but we have Williams to come yet.

11. DF has not quite got tactics right to fit the personnel on the pitch, and hs substitutions are lacking in nous.

Seems to me then that we have to encourage our club to get these last issues put right and to get rid of the negative and over-cautious thinking that cost us in many games so far.
We still desperately lack a midfield general capable of running the game on the pitch. I suggest in the next transfer window that is what DF and the scouting team need to search out. We have plenty of defenders and attackers.
I remain confident if we can find creativity and consistency we can do well this season but we have to give the club and players our confidence and support.

totally agree. For a team that has been reshuffled as much as ours we are doing ok. We have played 3 of the promotion favourites and have not been outclassed or over run. We beat QPR and lost to Boro and Hull by a solitary goal giving both a good game.
We lost to Brighton again by a single goal and they are top of the league.
So in my opinion we are doing alright and I think will improve

I think that's pretty much where we are. Good summary.

Ebecillo was top rated junior u17 or u18. doesn't seem to have progressed.

Shame :(
