I think fawaz is tremendous so not having a go. Surely our sponsorship is a yearly thing at the moment. So we know in advance that we will need a new sponsor for next season. How come then we ran out of time to negotiate an external sponsorship deal for this season. Surely these things don't take 12 months.

Just guessing but I think it's a case of the sponsors he has approached are waiting to see the potential division we'll be in over the following season or two. I always assumed though that he would approach middle eastern companies but he has said he has been searching for a strong British sponsor!?

Ask the question What major business is going to advertise their name on a shirt of a football club that doesn't pay its bills on time and forever having winding up orders. No one who sponsors a football club for a substantial fee then wants their name associated with anything negative. We've got to much self made baggage at this time to secure any lucrative deal
