Daniel Pinillos, Spanish left back who played as a trialist against Doncaster Rovers failed to impress DF. DF will now shelf plans to sign a left back and will stick with Danny Fox who as improved pre-season. He will then wait until Cohen is back and try him at LB.

There's nothing like giving a kid a chance. Unless he's trialed with a few clubs or been training for a while in England, I cannot understand how after 75 mins of football in a foreign country with little to no practice before hand, how one can make a decision about him. I don't know the lad and if he doesn't stay, good luck to him, but from facing the likes of Barca, the Madrids and Sevilla last season, to a dodgy Tuesday night in South Yorkshire with guys you've barely met, by this account, it's a little dismissive.

But he may just be toilet, in which case.

Think cohen should be sold. once one of my favourite players but he is constantly injured. time play at a lower level. fox is good enough or give this pinillos more than 1 game. fergie took years at it'd before dominated football so got to give people a chance

And after 3 serious knee injuries I'm sure they're queing up to sign Cohen? If he's ever fit again he will be captain and remain a red. He loves Forest.

Was there last night and if DF is going on that one game then the only player her will be keeping is mancienne as everybody else look over weight and unfit with a week till the start of the season. i can't see this being a good year!

Reece James gone to Wigan. Fox only genuine left back. Lichaj vulnerable as he can't tackle with left foot. Need to keep looking.

Glad I'm not around when any of your decision making goes off!

yes sell cohen, reid& any other dead wood. Britt won't come back from that injury either. Time to move on. walker, grant, osborn, riera, paterson plus more. MA can go too, we were always a stepping stone for him. Get a good young squad & keep them together for 2 or 3 years

The season a week away. Think your slightly off there.
It's Funny how no one talks about Gary Gardner missing pretty much three years due to injury and having done both cruciate ligaments when they refer to all our so called 'crocked' players. He did alright didn't he last season!!!!!!

Who's going to buy an injured player? The only way forward with Cohen and Britt is to try to get them fit then make a decision. Personally I would focus on Reid. I would be looking to move him into a coaching role with a pay as you play player deal. we have a chance of pulling that renegotiation off and I don't like his odds of playing again

The OP is wrong, the left back impressed and Dougie wants to sign but can't due to the 24man limit.
