Huth sort of player we need but not going to happen as SP already said we can't afford it. Being linked to Grealish again but we really don't need any more youngsters or wingers surely?

2.) 16 Jan 2015
Problem is young players are the best we will get due to wage restriction

3.) 16 Jan 2015
Huth would be an outstanding addition. He and Hobbs would be solid!

Need SP and Fawaz to work a little magic, beg and plead with Hughes to cut us a deal that falls within our restrictions

What we need redmen is a freebie. Darren Ambrose would have been perfect. Had a big impact since going to Ipswich. Nothing against youngsters, just need an experienced head.

Huth looks like he is heading to Aston Villa

Please can somebody clarify something for me this transfer embargo we are Under and this ability to only pay 10k a week what happens when a players contract runs out can we give the same contract back to the player again ie when reids contract is up which I think will be before the embargo is up will we be able to offer him the same deal again how does that work??? Can anybody shed any light n this please

Contract renewals are not restricted by FFP Transfer Embargos.

The only issue would be if he did what Moousi did a few years ago and allowed his contract to expire before signing a new one. Technically the player becomes a free agent and is a new signing and therefore must be paid no more than 10k.

No need to panic though guys - I have it on very very good authority that his contract extension is in hand and it, in fact, includes him becoming involved in the youth team coaching setup with Jack Lester upon his retirement as a player.
