Bit of a shame as did a decent job in a struggling team last year but makes me think we have somone better in the pipe line

I posted peltier was signing for huddersfield last week, think they tried to do a hull and was looking for 500k, glad they reached agreement he's a good lad always gives his all

All the best to the lad did his best for us and seemed like a genuine enough player. Probably taken a paycut to get out of the last year of his contract and sign for huddersfield hope he gets a decent reception when he returns to the city ground. Nice of him to thank the nffc fans on his twitter when announcing his signing for huddersfield. We clearly made him feel welcome.

I thank him for his efforts last season but, in my opinion, not good enough for where we aiming for. I can see the point in signing a youngster who will one day challenge for a place in the first team but I cannot see the point in signing a player who will never be a first team regular.

Genuinely think we've missed a trick by not signing Peltier. Would have made excellent cover for a couple of people and possibly may have even warranted a starting place in the future.

We have to trust in SP and Fawaz and presume they have a plan along with targets they are working to get.

Looking forward to the next few weeks to see the ins and outs of the club which will show the ambition and direction of the manager.

Maybe he didn't want to be just cover for us, I imagine huddersfield are almost guaranteeing him first team football

Good player but he wanted regular football & Psycho couldn't assure him this. Plus, he is closer to family & friends in Yorkshire.

Samtam786 firstly, you assume that we even made an offer, I'm not so sure. secondly, Huddersfield isn't exactly on the doorstep of home, for a scouser!
