If we go down we will be remembered as the club that stuck up to the inadequate refs and var and the corrupt Premiership, FA, and sky. All not fit for purpose.

How do we compare to Brighton? I think a lot less m abilities and manager. Currently losing 4 -0 against our next opponents. They will have to beat us to try and win the premier league. My opinion only is that we will be in for a demoralising pasting. There is no point trying to attack, we just need to suppress the score line so we can maintain a better goal average than lowly Luton! Yes we have sunk so low that we are vying with Luton to survive. What a huge waste of Big Ms money to end up where we are. It really is complete mismanagement of a severe degree. I cannot see any Forest team formation that will have us beat Burnley and the blades. Remember if I can, that in 2 seasons to date we have won a total of 3 away matches. So does anybody believe we can win the next two? It would involve a complete turnaround of attitude, managerial skills, belief they can win a match. The Burnley match might be our final chance to survive but we may already be sunk. Those who say the championship is better won't be saying that when we are at the bottom of that league too. I like many others will renew my season tickets and support them till I am no more. Somehow we have lost our way and I don't think we will find our way back.

Right friends here's my predictions for the rest of the season.
Sheffield Utd will be relegated this weekend, long before we play them.
Burnley won't get another point before we play them last game so both will be demoralised and mentally on the beach. 6 points.
By the time we play Chelsea they will be mathematically unable to get even into the Europa places. They are an immensely talented and expensively put together team but disunited ( as per the penalty incident) big time Charlie's and a bit flakey. Christ, we even beat them at their place so we have a chance at a fired up WFCG.
We won't get anything against Man City. It will be a case of keeping the score respectable. Ie 2 goals margin would be excellent and protect our goal difference advantage over Luton
We will get 2 points deduction on appeal.
Luton are the danger and are unpredictable. Wolves are decimated with injuries, safe and mentally at ease so might be vulberable.
Everton on a roll and will beat or, at best, draw with Luton.
West Ham will beat them comfortably.
Fulham, like Chelsea, are flakey but should have too much for them in the last game of the season even if they are mentally on the beach
I think Luton will be finished by then.
So we will finish on 34 points including restored points, Luton on 31 points ( plus around 10 goals worse than us GD)
Then I'm off to Corfu where I will visit the Durrell house and Old Town, get sunburnt and drunk every day without fail!
Sadly, I can only absolutely guarantee the last bit! πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ€žπŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ.

For me reds, to sum up our season. If and only if, we do go down.
1= we didn't do it with intent as a yoyo club.
2= the owner and son tried for me, just as most owners and there expensive hobbys, fkd right up.
3= wouldn't say all players were bad, they were just played out of positions.
4= I'm still unsure on our set pieces, for taylors sake, are the players actually listening and doing what's intended.
5= are we that desperate at the WFCG, that we blame the coach for noise.
6= clattendick was probably the worst ever idea from a premiership club.
7= why keep bringing the same predictable coaches. Especially them without a choice of players.
8= why is there no communication with the players with the fans/ people of Nottingham. Now i say this as a geordie. But never read any. so may be wrong.
9= the amount of leeches just sucking on every bit of blood, from VAR to officials.
10= why can't football just be enjoyed as it should anymore, from grandads/ grandmas to grandkids.
COYR =FTID= HELP.

I agree with all those points Bowie, apart from no.3. More to do with playing out of their depth rather than playing out of position! Your comment no, 10 jumps out of the page at me though. Football, as a whole I feel, is losing the whole ethos and attraction that we all took to as kids - and losing many future supporters in the process. Very sad.

Easy one that is Carlo. Mr M was warned by his financial officer very early doors that we were heading for a FFP breach and he ploughed on regardless.
Plus he and the hierarchy lied to the Forest Supporters Trust in public meetings that all was well.
Plus he oversaw a disastrous recruitment policy which wasted a lot of money on mediocre players or those who were in the twilight of their careers and injury prone.
Plus he flip flopped on strategy of recruiting young players with a good sell on value and got rid of Dane Murphy …….

I find it all very strange stokey/ gazz i remember reading an interview on him, which btw were like bowies, very rare. But he actually highlighted ffp. And how he'd never let the club fall into the trap. Especially after past misgivings. Now this wasn't just a one line yeah thing. It went on and on. Remember thinking wow that's one thing we got right. Btw we were in the championship at the time. Wow all that glitters is gold as Prince said, or the sign. The premiership rears it's ugly head. I'll have some of that. Bit more of that, 4 of them, 14 of them (can we sneak them into the country) disco balls in front of the floodlights, yup 6 of them, keep the change. Signed arnie muscle shirts from the 80s. My sons doing that. Just hurts money, in football and how it clouds the people surrounding it.

Wasn't it Atwell who gave the infamous "ghost goal " in Watford v Reading back in 2008? It's amazing how mediocrity is rewarded in this country. I don't want to be flogging a dead horse here ( and I'm not a Wolves or Bournemouth fan, though I will be an honorary yam yam on Saturday) but is anybody else scratching their heads after Atwell s performance last night? Particularly as he awards a Wolves goal then gets advised by VAR to have a look at a foul by a Wolves player in the build up ( which he does and overturns it). So why weren't we awarded the same courtesy by Atwell on VAR when our ref rules that the Everton defender had played the ball for our denied penalty on Reyna? All it takes is a quick " You might want to have a look at this one again mate on the monitor". If he had it was a penalty. The recurring problem we have is that we don't get as far as a VAR review ever. Last night Everton had a penalty overturned because of a clear offside. It took 2 minutes to VAR it! Probably because it was one of the top 6 again. Grrrrrr!
As far as the ludicrous "minimal contact " nonsense being spouted by idiotic pundits it reminds me of the infamous comment by a ( white) American athletics coach that Jesse Owen hadn't been selected for the USA team because he was only one tenth of a second faster than the white sprinter who was selected! Again Grrrrrr! 😑😑😑.

25 Apr 2024 16:40:25
Trouble is Stokey it's minimal contact when it's anyone outside the big clubs. When it's the " rest of us " it's still classed as minimal contact but they tag the phrase " yes it's minimal contact but a penalty is a penalty. I remember Danny Murphy saying when Danilo gave a penalty away against Rashford. Murphy and his cronies said minimal contact but still a penalty. After Rashford hit the deck like he'd been smashed in the face with a sledgehammer.

Note the results after 45 mins. Everton and Sheffield Utd ahead why? Both have managers ( English as it happens ) who inspire their sides. Who would have said that both these teams would be ahead at 45 mins very few I suspect. SC did it last season for us. This season the trap door is open, will Man City push us down? MGW and Murillo are already being touted around to the best bidder, and will be gone. They know this, and inevitably it will affect how they play especially when they believe like many that we are relegated. Can anyone honestly see us getting any more points? We have won 3 away matches in two seasons, so no points at Burnley or the Blades. So that leaves home matches vs Man City and Chelsea. I honestly am not being negative but these are the facts.
Sundays match said it all and was the final nail in our coffin. Our only hope next season is SC but the way he was treated he won't come I suspect. Nuno is a Nono I am afraid.

Mangala going for Β£20 million. Johnson went for Β£47 million ( they didn't allow the amount to count towards last season's losses). Trim the wage bill and the squad size, should stay within Β£83 million permitted losses this season (1 x EFL Β£13m and 2 x PL Β£70m) That's how it works, doesn't it?

Remember wenger came from nowhere, changed the whole idea's of the game as a whole, with it's science. For me, and btw f ck off to all those hecklers. Say what ya see. Anyway took over a new era. Wenger could also see players outta position, henry exceptional. From winger to forward. And brought exceptional beliefs in his team as clough/ taylor did. Just approached it differently. This is what i want to see from the owner. For taylors sake you've gambled enough on players. Where did nuno come from? Your usual sh1t from people saying the fans want attacking football. It is football we want reds. But in an honest and horrible way if needs be. Like the old days. I know i know can't get away with it now. But just for me give someone with new ideas and most of all bring trust outta the players. Let them believe in themselves and club. Not the usual predictable sh1t.

I couldn’t agree more Bowie. We need a manager who thinks outside the box, a leader of men and an inspiration to those around him. Sadly I don’t think Nuno is the answer, he’s not what we need at this time. In fact to be honest I think he’s been quite poor but no doubt the referee and VAR bias hasn’t helped him one bit.

Thing is for me froggy, it's easy to push forward mate. Any manager can do it. It's that mental thing they instill in the badge, grabbing the players respect and reminding them just how sh1t they are at times. Making them work hard for there place. Remember before our moans on VAR and officials, it was the coaching and injuries, which to be honest i could only agree with. The stats again told us so. Now it's set piece stats and one pen. Reds we really have a premier team that could well hold there own there. But if your going to keep bringing predictable football, then your going to get predictable scores.
