I don't think warburtons position was ever in Jeprody, there Is a lot of the season left and we weren't in a bad place in the table anyway, we had lost to two teams who are very good quality, I don't think he will get sacked unless we have a long run of poor performances.

He makes a lot of changes. Not all down to injury. All on here have consistantly asked for a settled side even through the PM ERA. Great result ladtnight, it certainly buys time for further development. Not sure we created much. Well taken goal by murphy. Ironically it came from their defence dithering like we did on sat lol. Upwards and onwards. A win is a win and a better platform to move forward on.

Lol Rutland he's cut the squad right back he has good players on the field and on the bench there's no harm in making changes when you have such a good bench and it's about keeping all t players happy in the squad not just eleven players things are definitely on the up upwards and onwards you redddsssss

3.) 13 Sep 2017 10:21:31
Skegs the cuts were peripheral players. Its an observation that he uses a lot of the squad and we ask does he know his best eleven. Does he play players tu nullify different opposition??
Personally i think a settled eleven breeds consistency and continuity. If you want unity at the back get your best 4 or 5 and let them gel.

4.) 13 Sep 2017 11:25:51
With respect when it comes to the defence he has played three of them in every game if you include the goalkeeper.
Traore would more than likely be his first choice, but maybe he feels he can't play every game without his injuries starting up,so good management of him,he can only get fitter.
Everyone has a go at mills and want Hobbs In,well he came in and got caught ball watching from a corner and we conceded 3 goals.
It is a squad game and all managers make changes when you have 3 games in 8 days, you have to.

5.) 13 Sep 2017 12:36:31
Rutland your probably right 11consistent players might do better but as we have learned a lot over the past with all our injuries year in year out it doesn't work like that cause half the time our 11 players become 5-6 after injuries

6.) 13 Sep 2017 13:16:29
Thats the prob skegs. Either we are unlucky with injuries or conditioning an issue. Like i say i want warbo to do well. We need stability at the club which is moving in the best direction for years. My critiscm if warbo is that trying to play football from the back is a good idea. But you need to mix it up a bit and if the players are not comfortable on the ball at the back then its needlesly dangerous!!!

We have a lot of games in a short space of time and all players want to play. Makes sense to give others a run and keep them happy and fit.

What a signing! We've got someone who is experienced, strong and has bags of quality! Could be our best signing so far, know just to work on the defence and we are set.

Simple we don't and can't tackle.

2.) 17 Aug 2017 19:04:21
Matt mills.

3.) 17 Aug 2017 19:49:08
3 headed goals against in last 2 games. CB who is dominant in the air. Breeds confidence in others. Our lot are the opposite. Nervy shambles.

4.) 17 Aug 2017 22:53:40
Jack Hobbs?

5.) 18 Aug 2017 06:02:15
Jack Hobbs his fault for leaking goals not bad he ain't played yet lol.

No one in midfield most the time who breaks up the play and can intercept or win a tackle often midfield looks great going forward but track back slowly or poorly and defenders also get caught out of position, no communication in defence and too slow. basically the same as last season.

In Cummings and Murphy (along with Vellios and Bereton) we should be able to get goals even after losing Britt and the additions of McKay, Dowell and Clough add creation that we lost when Burke was sold but our central midfield hasn't improved really (Bouchalakis adds a little physical presence and creativity but with Cohen and Vaughan coming towards the end of good careers it only counters that) and defence is same just if anything slower as Mills and Hobbs aren't the players they were 3-5 seasons ago.

Traoure still loses concentration and is inconsistent, Darwika is similar to Hilberto just not as hot headed and Manchienne is still too light weight and we still have no voice or leader at the back.

I didn't watch the game so can someone explain to me why we scored only one goal from 26 shots! Did they play 2 goalkeepers or something?

1.) 16 Aug 2017 11:58:57
Their Goalkeeper was in good form, but our players were put under pressure when on the ball so were scuffing their shots, rushing their shots, and taking pot shots, it happens even to the best of teams.

2.) 16 Aug 2017 13:04:34
A helluva lot of positives from last night's match, we DO have a Plan B, when things are not going well, when we went 442 we battered them. Colun Frey was saying our play at times was "Scintillating", "unbelievable". If we keep up that sort of performance, we'll definitely be more than ok! Never heard us play better in absolute years! Bring on Britt!

3.) 16 Aug 2017 17:13:12
I watched the game from high up in the East Stand and to be honest I thought the early part of the first half the pace was like watching an exhibition match with very little penetration, surrendering possession and misplaced final passes.

Forest did grow into the game but kept making the wrong decisions in front of goal.

We are certainly improving but look very fragile when teams start to press our midfield and backline.

Entertaining to watch but rather overstated adjectives if you like to see an end result to some creative counter attacking play?

I completely agree, I just hope the right players will come in time and settle in straight away,we also need to stop being so harsh on our team, youngsters are learning and the new signings take time to perform and settle in,it's early days, we just need to wait and see.
