The post from McGovern earlier about gambling has got me thinking. I wonder how many Reds would 'cash-in' on 4th place in the PL at this stage of the season or gamble on us going even higher if the stakes were tempting?

Nobody in there right mind would back us at start of season to make Europe. but then again I backed a horse that won at a 100/ 1 again nobody in there right mind would do that. but that's why it's gambling and p. s I'm definitely not of sound mind ??.

Well legless 4th put's us in the champions League, no need to go any higher unless you want to win the premier League. And on Liverpool's showing today and arsenal yesterday I'd take 4th. What about 3rd I hear you say, man city. There going to be there or about.

If we could keep fourth place or above, it would put some of our players in an awkward position who say they want to play in Europe and need to go to a bigger club?. If I could have a winning bet on Forest this season, finish above 10th a and win the FA cup??.

Just listening to Talksport. Ali and Townsend full of praise for our team, rightly said that MGW, Elanga, Hudson Odoi. all showing what they can do now, when in the past they were not quite at it.
So credit to Nuno for bringing the best out of our Super Reds!

Skegs, my best is a 150/ 1 winner. Why they all cried? I said it was the 3rd best horse in the race, I only wanted a place. £15 ew, £2730 back. Pub was booming. ?.

I think if we make any European spot it will be incredible. A deep cup run would also be great. Unless we are willing to break he wage budget on an established striker who wanted to come to us, it's always a gamble.
