Can I just start with a big thank you to the guys on here for their kind words regarding my bad news. It means much.

I've been delighted with Nuno from day one and think he can be a great success with us. However a couple of chinks have started to show starting with the keeper. Faith in him seems to have gone too far. His positioning for the Brighton free kick was schoolboy stuff.

At home to Fulham the decision to not start with the threat on the wings was a strange one, let alone putting Awoniyi on with woods was simply bizarre. To not want to take the game to Fulham or have pace on the break baffled.

Ok no mgw but Yates can take that role for a couple of games. It's good to have a manager who can mix things up but please Nuno no more batty plans and lay off the refs we don't want this vein of complaint to dig us anymore.

Nuno is carp. Only a total muppet would select the side who started against Fulham. It isn't just an error, it's complete stupidity.

If it was a side that was maybe good, or that some people might pick, it can be understandable. But I have not found ANYBODY - I mean nobody at all - who thought that was a good idea. Clownery at it's worst!

Stevie is a great bloke skeggs and you have to ask yourself why you and balloons just want to come on this site just to try and wind people up? Because that's all it's ever been about fir both of you.

Even when stokey puts something on it's straight to boring you. Yes, you might think you're funny? But are you? Fine margins.

Supposed to be about football and the cl6b called forest? Tbh you were far better till you met balloons. Like you said in an earlier post that you two had arguments before you met.

To me I've met some great people from this site, but there's a downside to it. For me it creates a clicky scenario.

The people I've met will always stay with me and I'm not going to mention names, but I believe it's not been good for the site overall. My advice would be leave it to being a site where you don't have any other contact than your user name.

It might seem a good idea but is it? Best to imagine sometimes?

Dtp not everything on this site as been about forest you've just pointed out Stokey with his jokes. its nothing personal to Stokey I just don't like jokes and comedians I find them boring has for Stevie I can't comment on the bloke I've never met him I've met balloons and he's a great bloke like you say about Stevie and as for me winding people up I don't do it all the time but i'm like that in every day life.

I'm like it with all my family friends and even people I've met for the first time and nobody I've met as a problem with me that's just who I am did I wind Rutland up with his comment yesterday no I agreed with some of his comments on nuno like I do others that give a good opinion from both sides of nunos game hence a was good at this and bad at that not going straight in slating him.

I don't care if nuno gets sacked tomorrow as long as we have a better replacement a manager is just a manager and i also enjoy meeting people on this site they get to see tge real me which his no different to how I am on this site now i'm doing a stokey post ??.

{Ed001's Note - instead of making nasty comments about them being boring skip the posts you don't like then. Nothing more tedious than people who feel the need to ruin it for everyone else. Stokey's jokes at least are much funnier than repetitive tedium about Coronation St or just repeating 'we hate thatcher' over and over.}

I expect 95% of people on the site are sound as a pound in real life. I don't mind at all that some of them can't help being wrong a lot.

The best advice - which applies to any forum, social media and whatnot - is to attack what people are saying if you don't agree with them. Play the ball, not the man. Personal attacks (banter notwithstanding) are just completely unnecessary and create a strange atmosphere.

Pensioners and middle-aged men who barely know each other tearing chunks out of one another is weird. Think about it. It is, dare I say it, more like how women in an office or kids in a playground behave. I should know, I've had to work in both environments.

I hope none of you are actual women now and going to accuse me of misogyny. I love women, especially when they are quiet! ?.

Whilst I thoroughly and deeply appreciate the concerns regarding bullying etc. from Ed1, Gazzi, DTP and others, may I take this opportunity to (firstly) thank you for this and secondly to reassure Skegs that I am in no way offended or upset.

This is unique to me personally and I can’t speak for others on here. Everyone is different (thank God). Some are vulnerable to put downs and wind ups in terms of feeling anger, depression and stress, which we should all bear in mind.

Speaking for myself, I don’t take things too seriously and if I can get people laughing, that’s a result in my book. I have never intentionally aimed to get a laugh at anyone’s expense and I would be the first to apologise if I did.

As the Taoist philosophers say, people will mostly act according to their nature. Some people are laid back, some see themselves as hammers in a world of nails. It all pans out in the end.

It’s a waste of time to blame vinegar for tasting sour and sugar for being too sweet. It’s the nature of vinegar and sugar. Likewise human beings.
Boring but true imo …. ????.
