Thanks wilf for acknowledging my post…. your right, mates like Bowie are priceless and he deserves all the credit he gets……. I know it wasn’t football related but just thought that he deserved a mention for being a top chap and a good friend.

Jolly I have friends in my life who have been like brothers and sisters.
Been to countless Forest games, funerals, weddings, gigs together, you name it.
When s. t happens they’re there. When I’m celebrating they’re 1st on the list.
They take the piss when I’m too full of myself.
They lift me up when I’m on a downer.
One is a Derby fan who wore a Forest shirt, along with the rest of us out of respect at the funeral of our best mate, a lifetime Forest fan.
We’re blessed my friend.
It’s all part of what’s really important in life.

Great post Wilf sorry to hear about your best mate my condolences, I’m sure Forest will do him proud this season. Life’s hard and doesn’t stop for no one and there’s always someone else in the world going through worse times than ourselves, but when we’re going through the grief and pain of losing a loved one weather it be a friend or family that statement seems irrelevant and lame, but our proper friends stand by us and pull us through and when you have friends like yours Wilf and a friend like Bowie no matter what life throws at you mates like this will always pull you through……. your a good man Wilf ?? Thank you.
