In answering my question about team spirit it seems the majority of you are concerned with the inflation in prices of the players. Understandable. But to keep that undeniable team spirit that was there last season, would it have been possibly better to pay the price of 20mil for Spence rather than 15 plus for say Williams or 15 million for Davis instead of 17 plus for the lad from Germany, I still think that zink would have been a useful squad member, and then there's jimmy Garner who may still return, not that bothered about Lowe, if Mr Cooper thinks the new lads, if we get them, are better players, that's fine by me, I just hope he can instil in them that same team spirit it, could be vital next season .

Exactly dreamteam, cooper/ murphy know best. Although i did agree with red balloons ? comments . That lad didn't become weatherfields mayor overnight just knowing his football. And hotpots. All things happen for a reason me awld ma used to say. Hence swansea putting cooper on garden duties. Even they must feel like a sheep at times reflecting back. thick as a mermaids toe. there's no time for sentiments in the premier as I've said before. I believe in miracles. But i'm happy with us holding our own next season . I remember chatting with someone on here about an old game i used to play on the pc, championship manager. (sure it was cyclist ?) anyway if you were a manager chatting to the media you left yourself wide open if you talked above your realistic hopes . Loved that game. I agree DT, I saw Davies make superb runs . Completely changed the game coming on against Sheffield United. Once he had the ball, very difficult to get it off him . Would have scored more goals in time in my opinion . What is his price?! . The 17 m we might be paying for a player who has only ever played in Germany, seems a gamble. Comparisons be made by the fans . Zinc, an integral part of the team, determined aggressive . Ok not good in front of goal but made important contributions . Spence I would have payed 20 m for as for me our player of the season SC is a first rate manager but does he have the ultimate say in who comes . This Nigerian striker - 6 yrs at Liverpool but never played because of work permit issues - is bizarre, plus Samba negotiations also a worry as to who is really in control.

You have to remember cooper was alrwady flying with the squad he inherited in September, a squad who were devoid of confidence playing the worst football I’ve ever seen. The addition in Jan added capacity to a squad doing very well. If cooper can turn what he turned around in sept I’d suggest he can build the same with players he’s involved in signing unless its been one of those magic moments where all the holes just line up.

He was at Liverpool and loaned out and scoring the bundesliga isn't easy, maybe man City have made a mistake signing harland?
After all he's only scored in Austria and Germany ?.

Klopp may have rated him, I presume that is why he was bought . However 6 years and not playing for Liverpool because of work permit issues is incredible. He was then loaned for 6 years to German sides scoring scoring an average of.
