Well now we have a claim McBernie stamped on a Fan must be part of his training and exercise getting over a broken foot . If we're not careful we will have caging back at grounds again, that's probably a long way off but if someone gets badly hurt while on the pitch the powers that be may start issuing fines and even bans on the club's so the club needs to nip this in bud.

He's claimed he was trying to step over the fan. Seen the video clip, absolute nonsense. It was 100% deliberate. Anyway off to Wembley we go! COYR!

Pitch invasions 3 point deduction to the home team. And if it’s a play off then the new season starts with deduction. As it’s mainly home supporters but sometimes both then deductions for both clubs. If premier have different rules to EFL then they need to get their heads together…

Most pitch invasions are youngsters and d#cks. Something we have to just live with. Emotions run high. Never going to stop it. clubs to suffer because of these . i think could be harsh. For me they should set up a policing/ steward system tying in with the players and staff before/ after the game to escort them off,

It's pretty simple. Most modern stadiums have CCTV all over the place. You just tell fans anyone caught on the pitch at any time will be reported to the Police and may face a lifetime ban - Then follow through with it as much as you can. Get the FA to enforce any bans nationwide and not just at local club level.

Fans would soon get the message.

Rutland, sorry mate I don’t entirely agree with you on this one, fans have gone onto pitches for as long as I can remember, its always been part of having success, the problem is SOME fans, thankfully a minority can’t fecking behave themselves when getting on there. After a fantastic season many fans travelling miles to support there team and gaining success, surely emotions have to be shown and going on to the pitch to get closer to their heroes has always been part of that and I hope always will be, no matter what the EFL and health and safety’s rules are, if fans behaved themselves, there would be no need for any of this, as for a 3point deduction, do you really think that’s the answer 30 points wouldn’t stop a lot of people anyway, emotions mate emotions you just can’t stop it, I for one wouldn’t want to, peoples views differ mate this is just mine.

Younger fans are the majority of pitch invaders but the Turd who head butted Sharp was a 30yr old from Derbyshire now that's young to a old fart like me but he should know better and needs to spend a while locked up.

Redballons, remember a day from the seventies, Nottingham Forest playing Liverpool. There fans ran to the Trent End with venom, two police officer's with a couple of German shepherds made them run the other way! . It was perms, tank tops, wedge shoes and twenty four inch clears running in the opposite direction, they looked like wildebeest on the Serengeti! .
