I think Burke must be in a hard place at the minute. He loves the club but for himself personally when the likes of bayern, Barcelona, Man utd and Arsenal are interested in you and come in for you. Surely these chances have to be taken because they may never come again.

I really feel for Burke but I would respect his decision either way. I am starting to resign myself that we will lose him in this window. hope we get a good price for him but like I said before would respect the lads decision.

I see where you are coming from, but i disagree.

The lure of being a player for such a big club on massive money, who would not want that.

He will then either be stuck in the academy or loaned out to much smaller clubs than he is owned by, the gloss will soon wear off being owned by a massive club.

He will then demand to leave, but which clubs where he will get regular game time can afford his wages.

His lifestyle based on those earnings he finds himself with a massive dilemma.

Not all young talented players then go on to achieve what Pogba has done by not only becoming a top talent, but then getting to humiliate the team that would not utilise your raw talent by buying you for one of, if not the biggest transfer fees.

Just think what he will be like with a full season behind him reward with new improved contract his game will come on playing week in week out but the lure of a 'big' might be much to say no.

He's going to leave no matter what.

Even in some bizarre event we got promoted this year he'd still go.

So best bet is to sell him, money up front, loaned back for a season and another (only to us) if not in plans.

Reinvest money (properly) and you never know where we can get this season.

Seems like win / win for me as we won't hold onto this player so best to set the parameters to our liking whilst we have the power otherwise we will be playing against him at some point in the future when he gets loaned to our competitors.
